Although i requested Halal food in advance, when i booked my flight, non was provided. 2. I got to the boarding gate, 10 minutes before the plane was initially scheduled to take off. I was the second last person to board the aircraft because there was a long queue at Passport control with only one officer for a prolonged period. The man at the final boarding checkpoint, insisted that i was late because of shopping, and insisted on me catching a new flight the following day. He said that they had already filled up the plane with Stand By passengers, and my bags had already been off loaded. I had to beg him to allow me to board, and eventually he did. About 10 minutes after the scheduled departure time, the captain announced that they were waiting for one more guest, and the flight actually left about 20 minutes later then schedule anyway. This series of evens led me to believe that the man at the boarding gate was trying to elicit a bribe from me.
