Nothing , complete lie from both kayak and thrifty car rental
The car that was booked for us turned out a two door suv with no trunk and barely 4 seats ( the last two foldable) we were five and the booking was for SUV 5 people 5 pieces of luggage . Not sure who is lying kayak or thrifty !! There were also a mandatory license plate fee , temporary drivers license fee , and mandatory insurance 4$/day that we’re not noted in the booking arrangement . The “upgraded” car for higher rate of course was ridiculously small and in a rough shape . They tried to make me pay for stains that was like that when we got the car. That is my second horrible experience with thrifty car rental and definitely the very last one. However I believe kayak has some fault here too for miscommunication and false advertisement so I will refrain using this site for future as well.
