I booked a car for 3 days at a good rate. On the second day I phoned Budget to extend for one day at the same rate. I was told "no problem". It turned out that extra day cost me as much as the other 3 days, but this was not mentioned on the phone. When I queried it they said it was because "no cars were available"! Why not tell me the true rate when I phoned, then I would not have extended?
