Budget at Airport "Konstantin Veliki" in Nis are scammers.They charged me twice more than was a prearranged payment by Budget in the USA. The agent forced me to buy their insurance or I wasn't allowed to get the car. They didn't accepted CDW Chase waiver nor my Geico insurance. I spoke with the Budget owner and manager, but they were firm to keep the double price for rent. The Budget agent said also that that Budget has nothing to do with the US Budget agency and he promised to give me a note about additional charges, but that never happened. So, instead of 96eur, I paid 178eur in order to get a car. Needless to say, that was pitch dark at 7 p.m. and that at that moment, I didn't have any other options. Moreover, Budget at Airport "Konstantin Veliki, " is charging all their clients for winter equipment in the middle of the summer. All cars which they offer are not driven anywhere expert in Latin America. I got a small, sluggish Fiat,and when you drive it, the sense is like you are driving a motorcycle. Never ever try to deal with them (check Hertz or somebody else) because Budget at Airport "Konstantin Veliki " in Nis is worse than car rentals in the Dominican Republic. Budget is represented by dishonest, unprofessional and dangerous people.
If you change the whole management and maybe a partner. Those guys are blunt scammers. I spoke with a couple of managers (or they said that they are) and they started that I must be charged for winter equipment and their insurance( which was a bigger amount than a rating price by contract).
