Cheap Car Rentals in Oranjestad

The staff was overwhelmed and understaffed for the number of customers picking up and dropping off vehicles. Granted nobody was in a hurry but that may be a cultural issue associated with island life. But I watched car after car in good shape get brought out to customers. My suv was a pile of junk. When I rent for a week I would at least like a car that isn't a rattletrap. The headlights were cloudy and the floormats were junk. I get it that Hertz's inventory may be less than desirable but seriously this was not rent worthy. I would love to know how to get on the good car list. Is there a special code to get a nice car?

The price was very high for the hybrid vehicle actually provided (which had no back-up camera, no navigation, and no charging cable).

The car rental company overbooked the office. Despite that, confirmation emails were sent repeatedly - the last one 24 hours before the pickup. When arriving at the office (by taxi) I was told that there is no car available, and no alternatives or compensation could be offered. In the end the booking can be regarded as "cheap talk" and ended up costing me money for absolutely nothing in return.

Rental was as described except it was in rough condition. Lots of small body damage, and missing rear hatch handle a rear window wiper.

I made a reservation through your site and there was no car when I got there. I am under the impression that the entire point of your business is to make reservations as I have never seen a plane, hotel, or car with “Kayak.com” printed anywhere on these things making you guys a 3rd party reservation company. If your only business is to make it easier for me to compare prices and then make a reservation, and then the reservation is not honored by the company’s you partner with it would seem to me that in reality you do very little to make travelers lives easier and, in fact make them much more complicated when people arrive at their destination in some foreign country and have to battle with their phones in attempts to correct the very thing you claim to be the primary reason for your businesses existence. I would get it if say I tried to book tennis lessons through kayak as I have never seen tennis lessons offered through kayak but when it comes to flights, hotels, and cars I would have assumed you had that dialed in. Apparently I was wrong. Think about it for a second or two.

New mid size suv , friendly & informative service desk

The lady is very rude at the counter, purely focused on making money with no empathy for the customer. She created lot of fuss on flat tire asking customer to go and find the shop and get the tire repaired since we used CDW from our credit card and not from Thrift. They charged us $289 instead of $132 without even giving us any check out receipt and inspection saying everything is good. This is a pure fraud and misuse of customer provided credit card information.

Personal at front desk have to be trained well to explain clearly and don’t hide extras. Salesperson want to sell a full insurance that cover everything to customers buy it quickly but if the car has a minor scratch insurance don’t cover what salesman said to cover. In other words, they are not people to trust.. the idea is to take your $500 dollar deposit.
