Car had +61000 miles, but felt older! Lots of rattles amplified by rough island roads. Trunk was a disgrace with interior falling apart! Trunk lid opened several times unexpectedly when driving!! A/C system cooling was also weak.

The gentlemen at Ace were great to work with fort our car rental. We never use credit cards, only our bank debit card. We hadn’t even thought about needing it for a deposit. The guys at Ace found a solution for this issue that was fair to both sides. They didn’t have the car type that we had reserved but it really wasn’t a problem. We were provided with a car that fit our needs for the weeks we spent on the island

My car was old and it smelled funny. Paint on car was scratched and not shiny brand new. A little disappointed. Service was great though. Fast and efficient service for both pick up and drop off. 3.5 stars out of 5.

Flexibility on the return was excellent. Normally the office opens at 8:00 a.m., but we had an 8:30 flight, so we had to return the car by ~6:30. They don’t have a drop-box (which would be helpful!), but they arranged for the security guard to drive us to the air terminal. This eased a lot of stress about how we would return the car on-time, as we were staying across the island and would have had difficulty had we had to return the car the previous day.

Condition of the car was fair - many scratches and scuffs. However, I think that’s simply one of the realities of having a car on an island with roads that are narrow and in poor condition overall.

I was pleased particularly with the fact that I was provided a GPS at no extra charge. Without a GPS, I would not have been able to navigate throughout the island.

While they didn't have my car ready, they gave me another one. The car was cheap relative to others. Overall it was ok and what I expected in the Caribbean.

Car wasn't ready for me. Car was not really clean. The van to and from the airport was not very clean and they jammed us into the vehicle.

The price seemed good.

First car had serious problems: brakes grinding, brake light on, check engine light on. Returned the car to get another... second car needed tune-up or something, because it kept mis-firing and jerking.

Very expensive to drive a heap -- multiple scrapes and dings, windshield wipers were smeary, tire pressure light came on within first day, check engine light came on on third day, AC was weak (and if turned up made a continuous clicking sound that wouldn't quit until it was turned back down. Drive like a bucket of bolts, and cost nearly $700 for a week (with insurance, which seemed important given the condition of the car, not wanting anything blamed on me). They also take a $750 deposit against your credit card, which they return to you if they deem there is no further damage. We took pictures of the car before leaving the lot, and got that money back.
