There were no cars available when I arrived! Apparently they overbooked.
The personnel at Hertz office was nice and professional
The confirmation email sent was incorrect, the physical address is not complete, the local phone number to find out how to get to the office is a non working number, very disappointing, once l found out by other means where the office was l was happy, the personnel was very nice and cooperative
Price is good
Every time, it never fails, they forceably try to sell insurance when the customer has already purchase one online. They state that the US-bought insurance is not valid, when it fact it is, and if you don't purchase their insurance, they put a $3000 hold on your credit card, which is ridiculous. Their insurance prices are bloated with exaggerated deductibles (sometimes the deductible are about 40% the value of the car). Hertz needs to make sure the company practices are the same everywhere where they are represented. These people in San Pedro are running their own show!
