Cheap Car Rentals in Regina Airport

The parking lot is a long distance from the Avis rental office. Bitter cold, very uncomfortable to pick up and drop off having to walk in winter conditions

Reserved vehicle type (small SUV) was given away to another customer so I had to take a full-sized pickup truck. I was also told that if I chose the fuel option that I would be charged at the going rate ($1.40/liter), instead I was charged 3x that. I was lied to and won't rent w/ Hertz again. The person at the desk was helpful, but the deception about the fuel price meant that instead of $20 I paid $60. Unacceptable and I'll never be back.

Staff (Diana) was friendly and efficient on pick-up and drop off. I've rented from this location before. I am the only driver, travelling along, and I'm always given two key fobs attached together. Together, they are too big for my pocket. I don't need two keys attached together. If you must give me 2 keys, PLEASE separate them, so I don't have to find a wire cutter and do it myself - and possibly lose a key I don't need and didn't ask for!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Javier, who I dealt with on return, was very professional. One thing I didn't like was that I was given 2 key fobs, connected by a thick wire. I was alone, and I didn't need 2 fobs. On pick-up, I asked that the wire be cut, because together the fobs filled my pocket. Staff said, we can't cut the wire, this is the way we do it. That may be convenient for staff, to keep track of all the vehicle's fobs, but I'M the one PAYING for the rental. Having to lug 2 fobs in my pocket all the time was inconvenient and kind of dumb as a business practice.

Great experience and enjoyed the car . Recommend Budget.

I liked the price! What could have been better - the size of the car, it was TOO BIG for me.

I booked my rental three weeks in advance. Day before I was to fly out I received a call saying they had no car for. No offer to help, no apology, nothing. I had to go to another company on short notice and had to,pay $458.00 more than I had booked for with Alamo. Alamo obviously overbooked and cost me a,lot of money and stress. NEVER book with Alamo, they have NO understanding of customer service.

I rented a car from Alamo to be picked up at the Regina, SK airport. When I got to the line of rental car counters I did not see Alamo. I asked a couple of people and they said they hadn't heard of Alamo. Thankfully, a security guard said to check with National Car Rental. So I did and apparently they own Alamo. Someplace on the signage or displayed prominently should be an Alamo sign. The person at the counter asked if I wanted Accident insurance. I was puzzled by the question because I had already purchased accident insurance through Kayak with Alliance. She said in case of an accident National/Alamo does not accept a 3rd party insurance - that I would have to pay out of pocket and then get the insurance company to reimburse me. That was news to me. So be careful when accepting accident insurance when you are reserving a car through an online site such as Kayak or Priceline. There is no shuttle to the rental car lot - you have to walk about 8 blocks with your suitcases in tow. When I finally found my car - there was no lot attendant - it was almost brand new. Excellent car (a Nissan Rogue) and very clean. Easy return.
