My child is a picky eater and he usually doesn't like plane food so I brought pediasure so he can drink on a plane. Although I searched online if pediasure is permitted on a plane and it says yes yet Qatar airline made me throw it away. They didn't even bother to look into it.

I booked a one-way Economy ticket from Kochi (COK) to Doha with Qatar Airways, expecting Platinum membership and Qcredits to offer some flexibility for an airport upgrade. A few hours after booking, I received an online upgrade offer for INR 71,000 (around USD 750). A couple of days later, award seats became available, so I wanted to cancel the original ticket and book the award seat instead. I then discovered that the amount paid for the online upgrade is completely non-refundable. This is an unreasonable policy: even when upgrade availability changes or a better redemption option becomes available, passengers lose the full upgrade amount. Qatar Airways’ terms and conditions appear to offer very little flexibility—and do not seem to favour passengers, even Platinum members.

Food and entertainment were really good. Seats and leg room were horrible. Stop being greedy and treating your passengers like cattle. Cramming people into seats where they have little to no leg room is inhumane. I'm over 2m tall, so I understand I'm on the high end of the spectrum, but there should be no reason why my knees were smashed up against the seat in front of me for an entire 14hr flight. I have flown internationally for over 30 years and it was the most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. I would expect more from an airline that is trying to promote itself as a top tier option.

It was a terrible experience, when I purchased the Qatar Airways ticket, it stated that I could have one carry on bag and one checked baggage, when I got to the airport they demanded a fee for the checked luggage of $328.00 or 1,705.00 bra real, of which I did not have and had to have a family member deposit it to me in order to pay this fee that was meant to be included, it caused a lot of stress for me and my family and I am very unhappy with this out right trickery. I feel something should be done to prevent other travelers from experiencing what I did, it is not fair.
