A city map in the car would have been helpful. Reception young lady was friendly and helpful. We have not seen final invoice to see whether gas has been credited back? Great little car, good gas mileage and performed well.
Had to cancel. I needed to change my reservation and no one answered the phone for 3 days. There was no way to change the reservation on-line. So I cancelled and went with a different company
Excellent service in San Sebastián and Bilbao
Location was right next to the train and bus station. Glad the car came with built in GPS as San Sebastián is not easy to drive around in. Rental staff very helpful and speak English too.
car was badly damaged, they didn’t tell me until after i rented and during pickup my drivers side door was blocked by a motorcycle had to squeeze in the car
The office was closed even though i had a confirmation they will wait for me. it was a storm day and i had to walk with all my luggage for 30 blocks and finally took a taxi to Bilbao for 200 EUR, nobody even replied to me neither on the phone or email.
Easy pick up and drop off. Great service.
Maybe include a map of the area, including highways leading out of town. I overheard 2 people, plus myself, asking for directions before getting into the car.

We waited for over an hour for our car to be ready. The manager was nice, but did nothing for our inconvenience.
Kayak showed an image of the van I was renting, which was a 9 passenger van. However, upon arrival all Sixt had to offer was a small van that could not accommodate six people. We had to spend twice the money and rent another car so we could all fit. We had to pay twice the gas and tolls.
