Clean easy dropoff

The car was ok for size and comfort. BUT...Still in dispute over alleged additional damage to the vehicle on its return. We were not involved in any accidents, but europcar staff say there are additional scratches on the vehicle for which we are responsible. In the photos they sent as evidence, there are small, very minor surface marks which would polish out easily with a cloth. Is this how they make their extra money or am I just being cynical?

The agent at the desk was very competent and helpful in preparing us for Danish driving. He upgraded us when requesting GPS, explained how to use it and provided tools for using the tolls. The vehicle was first class.

Friendly, helpful staff. Easy pickup and drop off. Car in excellent condition. When the bill came in there were two unexpected and unexplained charges that nearly doubled the cost of the rental. We are contesting them but it’s a big headache.
