Flights to Benidorm are most expensive during July and August as this is the hottest and most popular time of year to visit. The full peak season runs from May to October and throughout this entire time Benidorm is very overcrowded, as such you might struggle to find cheap flights to Benidorm. (Please note that Benidorm doesn’t have an airport so you’ll have to fly into Alicante first and travel from there.)
The winter season is still very popular, but there are also cheap flights to Benidorm when compared to the summer months. You’ll also find that the streets aren’t as crowded and rentals are cheaper. That said, a lot of the attractions, restaurants and bars are closed. There is the Fallas festival normally held in March time, which symbolises the welcoming of spring. It’s a huge celebration in Benidorm with street parties and parades. Flights to Benidorm might not be as cheap for this time in March but it’s a great festival to witness.
In November there is a weeklong fiesta so grabbing cheap flights to Benidorm then is definitely worth it. There are fireworks, parades, live music and much more, some of which last almost 24 hours. Make sure to secure your flight tickets well in advance if you want to attend.

The five main airlines that operate flights to Benidorm are KLM, Jet2, Aer Lingus, Swiss and Iberia. You can save money on your flight tickets by finding flights that combine airlines such as Iberia and British Airways, which can be cheaper than just using Iberia for both legs of the journey. Most airlines offer competitive prices on their flights so finding a bargain shouldn’t be too difficult.
There are a few options you can take to get from Alicante to Benidorm, all of which take about an hour and are easily accessible. The first option is to get a bus direct to Benidorm which costs approximately €8, or if you’d rather see a bit of Alicante first you can get a bus which takes 90 minutes and goes through the downtown of Alicante. Taxis are also available from the airport and while these might save you 15 minutes or so in transport time, the costs can be up to or more than €70, so unless there are quite a few of you travelling this option probably isn’t viable. You could also rent a car if you plan on exploring around the Alicante region too, which will give you a lot more freedom than relying on public transport, however if you want to get to and stay in Benidorm the bus is the most convenient choice.
