Cancelled flight left flew 75 minutes later. Originally had lots of time to make our connection but had approx 10 minutes before the gates closed for our next flight. We were 55 gates away roughly 1 km. It was my most strenuous run in my life. My wife just had surgery for a broken wrist and I am 70. I was carrying both hers and my carry-ons. We heard 3 pages for us and just made it, last to board and the gates closed after us. I was sweating breathing hard and coughing. There was no way we would have made that connection if we didn't run. Just unbelievable what Air Canada does.
