The car we got was a perfect size and suited our trip. The "cigarette lighter" electrical port was defective (didn't appear to be connected) and we couldn't charge some of our devices. We were charged $50 for dropping the car off on at the airport (3 minutes from our house) instead of Eureka (20 minutes away) on a Sunday, when both offices were closed. Would not use Enterprise again except they're the only game in our town! :(

The staff called me just a few hours before my rental to inform me that they had no vehicles available except for one van I asked if they could give me the Vin for the price of my reservation and they said no so I was unable to get to the places I needed to this weekend with my family.

They shouldn’t have had vehicles available on their website if they weren’t really available. And if they are going to cancel someone’s reservation they should at least first offer the vehicle that you have for the same price of the reservation

No reflection on enterprise.. The Nissan was a very nice rental. The Chevy was ok but sad that its not that nice of a car despite being newer. Wouldnt even charge my phone.. No where near as nice as the nissan(altima?).

I talked to a service rep and said that I would be there at 4pm. I arrived after 4pm and was shocked that they closed at 4pm. That service rep should have told me they close at 4pm. Unacceptable service.

My problem wasn’t with Hertz. My reservation through Kayak was the problem. Apparently Kayak doesn’t bother to check when their partners are open. I was supposed to return the rental car on Sunday. Guess what? That office isn’t open on Sunday. I had no choice but to pay for an extra day which I didn’t use. Last time I’ll be burned by third party bookers. They have no accountability. Hey Kayak, reach out and reimburse me for your incompetence.

Hertz is the only other rental company in Eureka but Enterprise is most definitely superior than Hertz but to get a Rental Vehicle is better than not being able to get one.
