I did not receive my car at all! I had my credit card but I am not using it for online payments, so they were blocked. It turned out that this is a problem and they couldn’t provide me with my car. And the girl on reception spoke only French..

Very easy communication, everything solved within minutes, no troubles. Even didnt care about potential micro scratches, just serious demages, so they didnt try to push the insuran etc. Incredibly easy going service.

The car was exactly what I expected and was very good value for money. Everything was very straightforward and the drop off was easy and efficient. The pickup experience at Bastia could have been more helpful and friendly but it was prompt which I appreciated.

I needed a point to point rental, and this was the only one that I could implement. It was possible with a couple of competitors as I discovered later and I could have avoided the trip to the airport, but the competitor websites were terrible and seemed to not allow one-way rentals or city pickup.

Total lack of info on pickup and return. The pickup desk could make a printed map showing where the car actually is (it's not where the signs suggest). The car (Peugeot) was kind of disfunctional (failed to downshift while going up the mountain; terrible proximity detection system).

Proximity of rental lot to airport (no shuttle)

Upon pickup, car was very dirty inside and outside and the tank was not filled up. I brought this to a customer service rep who was annoyed by it, would not change the car, drove my fiancé and I like a mad man through the garage to get a quick wash. He put a gallon of gas in the tank, which did not fill up the car and explained to us that the gauge didn't work right which we found out later was inaccurate when we filled the car back up. It was unbelievable.

The local rental office did not accepted the reservation we made with Priceline/Kayak. Instead they offered a more expensive contract. Very upsetting.

The price indicated on Kayak and Priceline is significantly different from the price you will have to pay at the counter. Car was clean, but please remember to take pictures of every scratch as their own way of keeping track is rather shady and ambiguous.

Up-to-date, clean cars. Mostly helpful garage staff.

Unhelpful, almost rude, staff at the reception desk. My rental consisted of 2 separate rentals, back to back. I needed to return the first car to pick up the second. I had left my luggage in the 1st car, as there was no place to leave it unattended and I kept the key for the 1st car temporarily to which the garage staff agreed. I made a mistake of voluntarily showing the key to a receptionist who effectively made me march back to the garage to return it (wasting my time). The 2nd car had a problem with audio input; functioning audio was important to me: this was a 3 week rental, and I specifically pre-recorded my favorite music on a mobile device. Even though they had other cars in the same class available, they firmly refused to let me switch a car, stressing that they are not obliged to provide audio. While that's probably correct, their better customer service attitude would go a long way in my feeling good in this rental experience, at a time when rental cars are a commodity, and rental companies can distinguish themselves in providing positive experience.
