Cheap Car Hire in Zona Hotelera Norte, Puerto Vallarta from AED 23

Didn’t have the ready as requested and wanted us to take a different size vehicle and charge us more.

Research insurance coverage and what is actually required before you get pushed into paying extra. My rental was three times what was quoted after "mandatory" insurance.

Delayed and poor service

The rental agency , doesn't tell you the full price online. It's better to book direct from car rental agency only.

This Payless/Budget counter in Puerto Vallarta felt like a complete scam. I ordered a Luxury SUV which was quite a bit more expensive then other cars. Upon arrival they did not have any SUVs in stock. They gave us a small car and discounted the cost a bit. They said they would deliver the SUV the next day. Towards the end of the next day they delivered a Kia Sorrento which is not a luxury SUV. When I asked about it they said they don't have any luxury SUVs. Upon return of the car they would not discount our rental any further. Basically I paid for a Luxury SUV but got a lower class car. It definitely felt like a scam. I will not be using this service in the future and will bring this up with Budget/Payless directly.
