Cheap Car Rentals in Tucson from AED 120

It was awful. I had told the representative a few times that I had lost my card during my accident and that I needed a replacement car and he assured me that I could use my digital card in order to rent a car only to find out that there was no way for me to do so! So I spent more than two hours on the phone and made a paid reservation only to find out it wasn’t doable. I don’t know who was to blame but it was an awful experience.

Joshua the desk attendant started by saying he had given my car away. When I asked why and that I had paid for that specific car he sighed and said "I have had a shitty day. I DON"T need this". I had tried changing pick up time on your website and it kept asking me to sign in when I did not have an account. So I figured since I had paid they would not give my car away. There were three Florida SUV's there and he flat out lied and said the cars parked perfectly in front facing out to the parking lot was not theirs and refused to even help us pick up at another location. When we said he is lying about that he said "I will NOT give u the last car. Leave or I will call the cops". He threw us out. When I called his boss another day, He informed me that the cars were in fact theirs. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT ANY CAR RENTAL COMPANY. He repeated how his day was "shitty" as if that were our problem and left us like that knowing I was under tremendous pressure to leave town. I will be reporting Hertz to BBB and write and leave feedback anywhere Hertz is mentioned. I could not believe the manager only said Joshua will need a bit more training!!!! Seriously? Common curtesy and doing your job is not something you can teach anyone. If he can not handle the pressures of his job he needs to not be there!!!!!!

Counter clerk in Tuscan is SUPER !!! Don't remember her name, it was over a week ago. She was very nice, professional and pleasant even with 3 other customers in the store. She was very happy, pleasant and moved us through the process effectively. The store in Olympia was well run also. After 3 days of driving all I wanted was to get home. The guys were doing a good job .

Pickup appt was at 10am. Showed up at 1015am and they didn’t have the type of vehicle ready for me. Said I would need to wait 20-30mins for the type of vehicle to arrive.

They didn’t have the car I reserved. It seemed to be kayak’s fault.

Checkin clerk was rude. Car was horrible, dirty, very small, missing floor mats and rubber cover over brake pedal. Very poor value for a 2 month rental.

This business is new to the Tucson airport and I found them just great to work with. They are located about 5 minutes from the airport and they had an Uber pick me up and drop me off both upon arrival and departure. My ride came within minutes of my reaching the curb and was very comfortable with zero delays. I much preferred it to having to navigate airport traffic to pickup and drop off the car. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. Zero wait or delay. My car was clean and great to drive. Couldn’t have been a better experience.

It was good except for the fact that I had no idea that managers special also could mean an electric car. When I called a rep before pick up she said it could be a small, mid or full size vehicle. Driving across Arizona in an electric car I had no knowledge of driving was not comfortable for me. So I had to pay $15 plus fees & taxes to get a gas powered car. That part was very disappointing to me. I will be sharing that with friends so they’re aware. Otherwise, the car was clean and comfy and the staff were courteous.

The service was smooth and easy, at both pick-up and drop-off. They upgraded me to a standard since they lacked a mid-sized, but the gas cost was still manageable. The only issue was the lack of a mapping software, meaning we had to travel with our own Garmin system. Using my phone would incur roaming charges.
