Cheap Car Hire in Clonshaugh - Darndale, Dublin from AED 75

I booked on your site for a 77 year old man and when we arrived, they refused to rent us a car. Luckily I myself had my driving license even though I didn't want to drive in Ireland. they also insisted we had to take their insurance as we couldn't opt out even though we were insured through our visa card.... Amazingly inefficient service on your part and not much better at Budget!

Very easy to collection and drop off. Would have liked to be able to drop off at the airport rather than use the shuttle as we had two small children with us.

I booked and reserved a car in Dublin Airport for 7:00 pm 15/10/2022 VolksWagen Polo , I went to the front desk and they didn't let me drive the car for my years of age. In the Kayak it didn't show the age policy and restrictions. I paid additionally the Axa additional driving insurance for €9.99 I'll send u the screenshot for the proof that I didn't know about anything and I would like to get a refund from the car and the insurance if it's possible. I was not informed that drop off was at airport. My drop off time was 10:00 and I was informed to bring back rental to rental park instead of airport.

Great car (Nissan Micra), clean, great gas mileage. Desk clerks at Avis very efficient.

Best value that we could find for renting a vehicle in Ireland. We ended up arriving 12hrs late but they still had a car waiting for us. No fuss declining the CDW with a confirmation of coverage letter from our credit card company (other firms we rented with in the past have tried to scare us into using their insurance). They did initially give us a vehicle that had the 'check engine' light on all the time, so we turned around shortly after leaving the rental compound and brought it back. Told us at first just to ignore it, but then agreed to swap it for an identical vehicle (Fiat Panda). Drove it for five weeks and no problems when dropping it off and shuttle to/from the airport was available promptly.

The rental was fine. My only negative was the car insurance they surprise on you at pick up. It was almost the price of the entire rental and we did not expect that at all. Much too big of a surprise and should be available to book online to avoid the last minute, very large fee!

Pick up from the airport took ages and getting a vehicle once we got to the depot also took a long time. We booked a small car and I got a 7 seat van which was fine for me but had one mirror held on with tape.
