I was suprsed on arrival that car was no assurance but when rented i pay full assurance and i get certificate from aliance thatt all is fully covered but onnmy surprise i have to oay additional 150€ on top to vover insurance so newer again
The return was streamlined and easy. Treatment by customer service was professional.
The car assigned was missing a hubcap and had body damage from a previous rental. No after hours drop off instructions provided for destination, and dark desolate Eurocar drop off location in Grenoble. Due to miscreants loitering in the dark in the area, decided not to risk my life, and left tand incurred an add’l days rental to return following day.

The car was clean and spacious, but hard to find. Located in a remote parking lot and space. It was hard to navigate the distance w luggage. The car was different from what was promised: expected a hybrid car w GPS. It was neither. Contactless renting has its advantages. At the same time you need internet service every time you open and lock the car. We travelled to Lyon from a different continent and so this was an issue.

It appeared my vehicle had been upgraded as I was given an automatic hybrid car which was lovely to drive & economic on fuel!

We were charged much more than the Kayak announced price. Even though there were no unexpected fees. Either Kayak or Europcar did not respect the deal. We will not go through Kayak again for car rentals
