Cheap Car Rentals in San Pietro a Patierno, Naples from AED 58/day

Let's be clear the car, a Fiat, was an outstanding auto, but--- How this company gets away with its level of customer service is stunning...to start the up-selling at time of pick-up, no matter how friendly, is manipulative & simply a money grab; but then---we had a terrifying incident where we forced into a wall by an oncoming motorcycle who appeared to do it on purpose; car was scraped & dented; repeated phone calls to Europcar went to voice mail with NO response to messages; repeated emails were ignored except 2 weeks later we got their standard "difficult question, need time to answer" response, which they always eventually send no matter the question; [I'm still waiting for a response to one I sent in January!!]......of course there was no one in the office to talk with when we dropped the car off in Florence, but I think they will blame that on our "early" flight time, 9:55am...and today we got the bill: after renting the car for a month for 221 euros plus liability insurance, [plus other difficult-to-understand charges], our final bill is 1708 euros...it is going to take longer than our vacation lasted just to figure out the bill!!

Being charged 300€ + 90€ processing fee?! For a 2cm scratch the car had a much bigger scratch when we picked it up and the door would not close properly. So Europcar is not spending the funds it receives to repair their vehicles. And a clearly arbitrary system of damage fees.

We arrived early and our car was not ready. We were upgraded to a better car for a fee which included GPS/navigation. We drove to Amalfi and Pompeii. We might still be trying to navigate Naples. I don't recommend driving in Italy without navigation!! .

I liked the staff at Hertz very attentive and explained everything.

The price changed based on booking. It was supposed to be 86 euro and ended up to be 228 because of insurance. I chose insurance on the booking and the agent said i didnt. so seemed weird. I was too tired to argue. The car had a bad clutch and really going go up hill with out a running start. again i was too far and too tired to argue. I just dealt with it. Typically this is why i dont like renting like this. but when they have you over a barrel.

Flight have been cancelled in Catania (Sicilia) and replaced by a flight in Reggio Calabre (It). We had some problem to reach someone at Dollar to confirm the possibility to change return of the car. It's hard sometine to reach someone by phone, should be easier to reach by email or facebook

Due to some challenges, our flight was delayed at Naples. Still the person at Dollar waited out of opening hours near to mid night. Very appreciate for this. Special Thanks to him. After rental, the car I received was not Good. In the back, Always a Big noise during the whole trip. This noise was many times distracting while driving. The quality of car was not Good. Gaves challenges many time in the uphill. Even we stuck two times a bit scary. The car’s drawing force was extremely bad. I was booked for Jeep Renegade But got some lokal car Brand Name «dr». Very bad.

This was like hiring a car thirty years ago! Incredibly long queues (with a ticket system that nobody knew existed) and incredibly long check-in procedures. The check-in staff tried to shake me down for extra money on three occasions, despite me having made and paid-for the booking in advance. I will never rent from Dollar again.

Firstly, I had wrote in to say I'd prefer a Mercedes or anything except for an alfa romeo and what I got in the end was an alfa. Also, I wasn't informed that I needed 2 credit cards for deposit ; one visa and one mastercard which I did not prepare beforehand which resulted in so much trouble and delay when I picked up the car at almost 12am. Utterly disappointed.

The people did a quick check on the vehicle and processed the return quickly.

We left a very important item (an heirloom glass jar filled with sand) in the center console of the vehicle and when we called the drop-off location they were very rude about helping us find the item. Then we called back and they still were not helpful. It seems they did not look through the vehicle thoroughly and we have still not been able to recover the item.
