I had a lot of issues finding the Hertz shopfront that was hidden INSIDE the ticketed area of the train station - most of us renting cars don't plan to take the train - and this meant that I could not find the shopfront on the first night I was in Taichung. Please ensure that the location of the shopfront is CLEARLY stated upfront in the rental email/documents as this was a very frustrating experience. I eventually dragged my luggage to the hotel and came back the next day to play hide-and-seek to find the shopfront. Otherwise the rental process was very smooth and the car was very good.
