Reserved a full-size truck or SUV, vehicle was switched out for a "Crossover SUV", which did not meet my needs. Was informed of this after I had arrived at the airport. Hertz rep said there were no options, yet there were Hertz trucks in the rental lot. They did not compensate price completely.

I flew to Midland Odessa. When I signed up with Kayak there was no clarity that I would not be picking the car up at the airport and had to spend another $22 and wasted time to go and pick it up at the outside site. Thanks Kayak.

Car had a shake at highway speeds. There was no windshield washer fluid. Front window was dirty. Paper floor mats left in car. Sanitized sticker left in cup holder.

Okay the car was not clean properly and also I noticed some issues. Bad smell and was showing some warning on front bumper sensors. Looks like it needed front end alignment even the steering wheel was crooked. My options thy need to put more attention to the vehicles THANKS

Staff at Midland and Harlingen were both very friendly and attentive. Vehicle was clean and provided a very comfortable ride. Drop-off at Harlingen was super easy; just provided ending mileage, parking location and keys and I was on my way. Receipt emailed to me. Will definitely use National again for future rentals.

Price was good vs price direct from alamo

Van was dirty and paint was on inside of van from house Painter that rented before us. Had to switch to different van. Second van had dog hairs all over the seats. To tired of messing with it to try and get another one.

The customer service at the MAF terminal is abysmal. Literally, non existant. The young lady at the desk was so preoccupied with her report that she had little interest in helping me. If I had the opportunity to recommend a friend to use Alamo, i would first recommend them to walk, or maybe even ride a donkey before I suggested or even hinted at the possibility of using Alamo for a rental car. Suffice it to say, I couldn't be more disappointed in how I was treated as a customer.

Place offered a pickup - but then, didn't even know what size it was.

I didn't like that I was never even offered roadside assistance and had to pay $70 after waiting two hours for a jump start. I understood the $470 initial fee for out of state rental, but not being charged that entire $470 again for returning it in 31 hours instead of 24. I'll pay a competitor twice as much before dealing with this shiesty company again.

Agent was more interested in his phone than helping me. Vehicle was not on the lot .... could not be found. Went back into talk to agent, and he just handed me another set of keys. I asked for new paperwork, and he reluctantly gave it to me. Second vehicle was not in area I was told, was blue and not gray (which would have helped in locating it). Asked a few questions like, if I return the car early, will I get a refund on days unused, etc and agent could not/would not answer. Was not impressed. Not. One. Bit.

Check in and drop off was easy.. Unfortunately the car smelled severely like cigarette smoke. For a non smoker that was a huge issue. Set off my allergies instantly. Purchased multiple air fresheners over the 3 days I had the vehicle. Unfortunately it didn’t help very much. 😡😡

The attendant there when I first arrived was annoyed that I would disrupt her free time with my business. Very rude and not hospitable at all. The attendant upon my return was the opposite. Very nice and easy to work with. The vehicle had a broken AC vent but other than that the vehicle was ok.

Paid a taxi to carry me to get my car and they didn't have any cars available. Was told it would be at least 2 days before they had one. Then had to pay to get back to my truck. Shouldn't make a reservation if you don't have cars available!

10 minutes after leaving rental location, 2 warning signals alerted me to low tire pressure and time to fill front window washer fluid. Ended up with flat tire after 2 stops to put air into bad tire. Had to find auto shop in town of 58 residents in middle of nowhere to fix the tire. Informed that I would be reimbursed at dropoff. Entire Avis system down at dropoff. Told to call 800 # to seek reimbursement when system was back online. Purchased washer fluid and installed it myself. On 3rd day of rental, received warning signal stating key FOB battery low. Inside front window and mirror filthy.

Due to some emergency, I asked if I can drop-off the car at a different location. They charged me some 300 dollars extra for that inspite of taking the car for a month.

Employee was courteous.

When I arrived my reservation, that I had changed earlier was not known by the person I talked to. So, the car was not ready and they gave me a Jeep, which I wanted, that had not been cleaned out well or washed. The mud from the person before me was still on the car and in the car. I was very disappointed.
