Cheap Car Rentals in Philadelphia Airport

Horrible experience. Never got the car. I ended up renting at another company while standing in line. Dollar is the worst. Second bad experience in as many trips.

Very easy to deal with on pick up and drop off.

Long wait to get car. Had to extend my rental and it was expensive and customer service was bad

I waited in line but apparently was in the wrong location. The next location, I had to wait nearly an hour to receive service. Kim was friendly, warm, and efficient once I got to the desk, but I likely won't book except through Hertz directly and with my Gold account information next time.

EV cars availability.

The bus driver had some right wing media radio blaring. Then the pickup center was hot and I had to wait an hour to get my car which was not even close to the one I reserved.

Poor Customer service/attitude

Great return process.

We rented an EV but on arrival they did not have any EVs charged. The replacement vehicle was nice but smelled significantly of smoke and we did not have time to return to attempt to get another vehicle.

We’ve rented a lot of cars while traveling and this was easily the most stressful and strange experience. We paid for a premium luxury SUV and they brought out the dirtiest, oldest rental car we’ve ever seen. 81K miles on the clock and showed every one of them. They then tried to put us in a small sedan - there are four of us and we had four suitcases … So they said we could take a Ford Explorer. We said that was fine but we’d like the difference in cost refunded as it would have been $100 cheaper to rent that one. They said they couldn’t do that. Finally, they found us a premium luxury SUV that was (mostly) clean. Just a really bizarre experience and they kept saying there was nothing they could do, until we said we’d like to cancel and we’d walk down to another rental company. What should have taken 15 minutes ended up being an hour and a half. Totally put us off ever renting from Budget again.
