The car was really dirty on the outside, absolutely filthy. When filling out the paperwork I was informed the excess was £100,000!!!! And damage would result in me paying £100,000. They said this was how the booking came over and they thought it was a bit strange. They advised I should take out their basic level of cover that would reduce the excess down to £1600. This cost me an extra £48 on top of the booking price, almost another 50% on top of my price. All in all a very disappointing experience.
The representative was helpful and patient. The location was easy to get to from the train station.
