Cheap Car Rentals in Toluca, IL

Very frustrating to arrive at the counter to pick up my vehicle and find that they have no reservation for me. This is KAYAK’s fault snd not Enterprise. When I booked, it was for at the Peoria Airport. But after not finding my reservation, they looked closer at my itinerary and found that my car was at the downtown location. By this time, that location was closed. They treated me kindly at the airport and I received an upgrade - but because of renting there, I had to pay additional because of airport taxes. Enterprise was GREAT but KAYAK certainly messed up the reservation! No wonder they had the better price - reserving somewhere other than where I needed it! Shame on KAYAK!!!

The employee at the airport pickup in Peoria on Friday February 18th at 2:00pm was not helpful at all!!!! However, the rest of my experience was excellent. The workers at Pioneer Road Enterprise were great!! Special shout out to Christopher for calling to check up on how I was doing on Saturday. Noah from the Macomb Enterprise was a God send!!!. He came to a parking lot to help get me car started!!! Thank you Noah!!!! I wish I could have exchanged cars in Macomb for the weekend, but that office is closed Saturday and Sunday. The drop off at the airport was great on Monday at 1:00pm. The woman handling my return was so very helpful!!!

They had me in a car quickly, the rate was reasonable, and the return process was quick and simple.

We had a good experience with hertz in Peoria, they were all working very hard to help their customers!

When I went to pick up the car, eventhough it had been prepaid, they told me I could not rent it unless my credit card had a "chip" in it, which mine did not. Then they wanted to switch credit cards and when I agreed, they wanted to charge me $150 extra.

I had to wait 30 minutes while they cleaned the car before I could start my trip. Totally unacceptable, will not use this agency again.
