Cheap Car Hire in Waitakere Ranges, Auckland from AED 18

Initially, I was concerned based on some of the negative comments but decided to proceed as the positive comments from other travellers rated their experience as great and I booked online. Closer to our departure date, Yesaway confirmed via email the vehicle booking with instructions upon landing. The rental base was at Mangere, about a 5-10min drive from Auckland international airport. Our vehicle model (RAV 4 Automatic) was not brand new (I already knew this from other travellers comments) but the vehicle interior was very clean, it was spacious, it worked perfectly and got us from point A to point B without any issues for our 5 passengers. Yesaway had marked on the paperwork all the little scratches, marks and little nicks on the outside of the vehicle prior to our picking up the vehicle (which saved us time from doing it) and we did a cursory look over. We did not experience any problems with the paperwork on pickup or drop off. We filled up the vehicle before dropping it off; and we were taken to the airport by shuttle. The service by the Yesaway consultants on pickup and dropoff was courteous. I recommend using Yesaway, Auckland Airport and will do so on our next visit.

The car was unsafe and broke down. I’m still looking for my refund, which I have had no feedback or help in receiving the refund.

I wish there had been more clarity as to where we were to be picked up. We were waiting just outside international arrivals, but never told to walk across the street to the shuttle pick up. Fortunately a local lady saw us wandering around and asked why, called Auto Union for us, and walked us to where we needed to be!

Service was great but car selection was minimal, vehicle we had was quite old. Stereo had been upgraded though with aux and Bluetooth though.
