Car was left extremely dirty. Mud in the wheels so it had a vibration for the entire 8 hour drive. Mud on the carpets. The back of the car was full of gravel. The windows were muddy. They made an attempt to clean the outside but it was just a brief spray off. Mud was packed up under the fender wells. Very poorly taken care of. Extremely dirty car. I reported it to the location where I was dropping off and they claimed that they could do nothing about it.

The staff was very friendly and quick. The car’s tire inflation sensors were malfunctioning. I was informed of this but all tires were good. I got a flat in a very inconvenient place adding over an hour to hurried schedule.

There was no one at the Avis counter when we arrived at the airport. There was no wind there at all they were closed so I rented from Hertz instead So, just for the record I couldn’t possibly read Avis any lower but I’d like to.

The fact that I could have obtained the insurance from AVIS which would have been easier to expedite a claim rather than a 3rd party insurance company. Thank God I did not need it! The next time I will go directly to AVIS!

We had a reservation but were not allowed to take the car for some obsure reason. They had not enough cars for the day after and we booked a car with drop-off location in another state. That was agreed upon during the reservation. We had to leave without a car of solution. Very poor service and this would be the last company I would think off when renting a car. Good thing we were able to get service and a solution with the competitors at Avis. They were very kind, offered a great car with great package including drop-off in another city in another city without any hassle.

I reserved a truck at least a month in advance ..I called a week in advance and offered to pay for the rental ...two hours before I was to arrive they called me and told me they didn't have a truck so I called and found one at hertze at the last minute and had to pay over twice the money ....what a way to ruin a vacation
