The car smelled like weed whenever it was humid or had been sitting overnight. The carpet was sticking out and had clearly been pulled up on the passenger side and there were stains on the seat. Other than that the car was fine and the staff were very friendly

Their desk was dark/closed, so was directed to go back to the Avis desk. Only one of the associates was masked—clearly a policy and health violation of this in-airport location at ROC. Credit where it’s due, the masked associate I worked with was helpful, pleasant, efficient, and assisted easily with a car swap. Just sorry she had to work in an environment of such blatant indifference.

Overall experience with the rental was fine—pickup and dropoff of the car was smooth and the car itself was clean and nice. However, after dropoff they mistakenly charged me for a full week, over $560, for a 24-hour rental that I had pre-paid. It's been over two weeks and I've had to call customer service twice to get the extra charge refunded, which they assure me will be in my bank account in the next 5-10 days. Customer service has been polite and efficient on each call but I'm lucky to have the time to follow up with them.

Enterprise is one of the best. Someone still walks you to your car, checks for damage before you leave and makes sure you are good. Someone still greets you when you drop off your car. Other rental agencies just hand you keys at the counter and good luck…

At airport, no shuttle to off site rental car place. Called 1-800 # customer service to have them get a hold of somebody at offsite Alamo for a shuttle. Customer service agent did call the offsite place and said nobody was answering left a message with my contact # for them to get a hold of me and I still, to this day, Never received a call. It’s been 4 days.

The manager when we picked up the vehicle was extremely helpful. He personally got our vehicle, warmed it up as it was 16 degrees and loaded our luggage for us. He really went above to assist us.

Alamo needs to correct their automated answering messages as they do not direct customers correctly. Was not able to get to a real person, messages sent you in a circle and then disconnects.

I picked up my rental car in the morning while driving it a service engine light came on. I then had to drive back to the airport in peak travel time to exchange. I was not happy! It needed an oil change. This is not the first time this has happened to me with this rental company! The employees were very nice however it was extremely inconvenient for me!

Like: Quick counter service; nice car. Dislike: (1) Car interior had heavy, unpleasant smoke smell. (2) Parking area attendant in departure area was missing for about 15 minutes when I and 2 other parties needed him for questions before we could leave (I could not get car in gear). So I was 15 min late to depart. Attendant was very helpful when he appeared. Maybe he had urgent conflict.

The car was a KIA and I had never driven one. It handled like a dream. We went thru different levels of raining and it was great!! It was good on gas. We drove to the Poconos in Pennsylvania. It handled the mountain terrain. The car was roomy and clean. We returned earlier than expected but no issues with return.

I incurred 6.18 in tolls and now they tell me that there are admin fees, which were mentioned in the rental agreement, Now I am billed for over 100 dollars in admin fee. As courtesy to the renter, this should of been made more clear. This is unfair business and have rented so many times and NEVER have there been any problem with tolls. I completed dispute the admin fees. Buyer beware
