The women in the office were very friendly and the drop off couldn't have been easier.
Location was impossible to get on phone. My insurance guy had to personally drive to location. Drop off there was no drop box and no one would answer phone all day next day
Continually increasing vehicle rental rates are a major concern. Hertz has competitive rates compared to other rental agencies (which is primary reason I selected Hertz) but the cost has me considering flying instead. The rental vehicle itself (Ford Expedition Max) was fine/met my needs however we had problems with the keyless entry/ignition system more than once. Specifically, the key fob stopped working; we were told it was due to fob connecting to local WiFi rather than continuing to communicate with the vehicle and that this problem is much more common with Ford vehicles/keyless systems.
There were not any actual cars there for us to rent even though we had booked in advanced. They did not try and call to let me know either.
my reservation was for 10am, sep 16. i receive a phone call from the hertz site in decatur telling me they would be closed the next day because of covid. when i asked if hertz had alternatives for me, the manager said no, it was my problem not hers.
