Cheap Car Rentals in Roanoke Airport

Deposit was not mentioned anywhere. Not thrilled about the accident policy. Drop off address was not correct.

First car had a low tire representative had a nasty attitude when I requested a properly inspected vehicle. Second car wasn’t full of gas and further attitude was received when I asked for a full car. Very poor employees

It would have been a perfect experience except for the fact that after driving for a day and a half, a tire blew out 15 minutes before I was to arrive at the rental agency to return the car. I contacted roadside service and they were very cordial. I filled out the online form then a half hour later was contacted by a "dispatcher ?". We discussed the options and decided that having the car towed and me riding with the tow driver to the rental office would be the fastest. After another hour and no tow, no fax, no call, I called roadside service again. They had no updates for me. At the two hour mark a good Samaritan stopped, changed the tire and escorted me to a gas station and made sure I pumped up the spare tire to a safe driving level. Samaritan = 10, roadside assistance = 0.

Paying nearly twice as much for rental cars as I have in the past. And don't get me started on gas prices. So not laying this on Budget. Businesses having to increase prices to survive due to rising costs, b/c the pandemic did its best to destroy our economy. Elections have consequences. Bad government far worse than the pandemic itself.
