The men working at the Budget location that I picked the rental up at could have been better with customer service & a little friendlier.. The door bell rang to notify them that we had walked in and they continued speaking to eachother until I had to say “excuse me” to grab his attention.
They allowed me to drop off at another location in the city free of charge. This was a real bonus and super convenient.
I specifically searched for a car that I could rent at YYZ (ie: the airport!). I chose the Avis car, but when I showed up at the airport, they told me the reservation didn't exist (and then when they eventually found it, it was for a location in downtown Toronto). The airport location didn't have any cars, so I had to go to another car rental agency.

Had paid for/ reserved SUV to seat 7 adults with 5 bags; cud fit in 5 with 5 bags only. Was a big inconvenience, they had only 1 SUV ready for pickup, so didn't have an option :(
During the winter cars should have winter tires. If I told them I am going to Blue Mountain they should have warn me that the car can't go there. I stock in snow and spent 3 hours to get it out from snow.
It was affordable
The car had all-season tyres in "the dead of winter" and was sliding all over the road. I was told that there was no alternative.
Was never mentioned all the extra fees that was going to be charged on top of the “receipt” they emailed me. The email states $60 something then when I return the car, I get charged an extra $190. Would have been nice to know ahead of time and not after.

I did the booking though your site but it was booked with price line & the car was booked with Hertz. I tried to cancel it going back & fourth with price line & Hertz. they both kicked me around but no body will cancel it. I finally gave up made a new reservation . All i wanted to change the pick up & drop off location & time of pick up & drop off. i am really upset about it .Big companies like these would not change or cancel the reservation. Every body be aware !!!!
They offer me different drop off (Airport) with no extera charge
I book a large car, what they offer me was a Kia Optima (red color), no more choice, at the end I took a Passat wich is intermediate car, has no option, old with over 36 K on it !!
I cancelled within the "no cancellation fee" 24 hours, but they charged me $50 anyway. Dealing with that now.
