Car was clean and in good condition. Gas was low so needed to fill directly. Waited nearly 2 hours from when the car was supposed to be ready for pickup which directly changed plans and accommodations for the day. After that, all went well. Nobody to receive the car but convenient ability to drop off keys at the hotel was a smooth transition.
My rental experience with Enterprise was great. Staff was very competent and explained to me into a great detail elements of the rental contract. The car was clean, comfortable and very economic on gas usage. Return of the vehicle was effortless. I highly recommend this rental company.

The pick-up staff were friendly and knowledgeable
The drop off was terrible. The person was not present- he had clearly just walked away from his desk. We waited for 45 minutes and almost missed our ferry. We had to leave the car in a parking lot without knowing if it was safe or would be ticketed. Very stressful.
Very disappointing experience. The car was not cleaned when I got it While returning, I had to put up with a 15 min wait for someone to come get the keys, and an additional wait for him to do a detailed inspection of the car even though I paid for full insurance. Overall, not what you would expect for the price
High pressure for upgrades and tactics to not let you decline insurance. Was forced to get an upgrade and pickoff and drop off were long waits despite reservation. Did not get a receipt for more than a day later. Bad value.
Easy pickup, and car worked perfectly
Beware of Sixt in general, but particularly the one in Zagreb. While SIXT has reported record profits, you will find out how they are making all that money when you visit a center to pick up the car that you booked online, and are forcefully coerced into buying insurance and protections that you don’t need.

Everything was excellent with the pick up in downtown Zebreg. The drop off at the hotel Rixos in Dubrovnik was a little unclear. The Sixt desk was closed at noon, so as instructed on the app, left the keys and paperwork with the front desk at the hotel. Not sure how or when my deposit will be refunded.
All in all a great experience. Would recommend it to all, well done sixt!
