The Pellston airport doesn't have any signage indicating where you drop your car off or where you go to hand in the keys. I realize it is a small airport but seriously--its 2017. Get a sign.

The pickup was great but the drop off at the Toledo Ohio airport was not very good. I had a 3:00 pm drop off and they closed at 11:30 am. I wasn’t sure what to do so I parked the car in the drop off lot and put the keys in the drop box at the budget counter. I wish someone would have been there to check the car in so I would have known if there will be any extra charges. Neil Hacker

I prepaid and tried to change my reservation and was told by Budget that I could not. They overcharged me a lot for days I didn't use. Awful experience AND AN EXPENSIVE RIP OFF.

The rental desk is just a few steps from the disembarking gate and luggage pick-up. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The vehicle was in brand new condition, and the return was lighting fast.

see said they only hold reservations for two hours. ? i dont see any 2 hour notes in my reservation, i was driving in from NY, road construction on the riad tooo Pelston, "she would see what she could di"". She did have a car, she did not explain anything on the forms

I had reserved the car for a 9a pickup. I arrived at 9:09a. I rang the "ring for service" bell several times. No one responded. Someone from the collision repair shop that is in the same building went to look for Julie, the Hertz associate. She couldn't find her. Then they page her. She still didn't show. They tried to call her cell and didn't get a response. Finally, at 9:25, she came out of a backroom. She was surprised that I was there. When the paperwork was completed, she told me I was in a white Honda, when it was actually a silver Nissan, so she had to walk me out to the car to get the right one. Because of these delays, I was 30 minutes late getting to the airport, and I had to rush to make my flight.

I am a bigger guy and rented a compact, I was worried I wouldn't be comfortable. I was surprised it was not bad at all. It was a nice short trip.

Very poor service at Pellston Airport. Had to wait over 45 minutes for attendant/employees (all three of them) to return to desk to pick up the car. This was not around lunch time, but late afternoon, and all three left the desk completely unattended with a "will return at" clock, and all returned together. They didn't return until 15 minutes after the sign said. No apologies or explanation given. Windshield had a crack, and fender had a pretty good sized dent, that the employees missed and wouldn't have included on the damage report had we not insisted it be put on the rental information.

When we picked up the first rental car, I was shocked by the $250 deposit. I didn't see it listed on Kayak, so I figured they weren't charging one because I was over 25. Well that rule isn't real! Haha! Luckily, the very friendly (and somehow always attractive) staff at enterprise helped work with me to make the deposit more manageable. After a few days, and a few hundred miles, the car started to chug at stops and would even stall if the RPMs got too low. We were able to swap it out very quickly for an even more comfortable car that got even better gas mileage with a little help from some more very friendly (and still attractive) enterprise staff. All around the staff was very helpful and courteous.

The first car, the Chevy sonic, had, hopefully, the most uncomfortable seats in existence. I was so happy to be able to swap it out.
