I had made a reservation for a vehicle for 3 days as I had travelled to Augusta, GA due to a death in the family. I was in urgent need of a vehicle. Initially, the agency called and told me that they did not have a vehicle in stock at the time of my pickup but told me that they expected one a couple of hours later. A couple of hours later, I contacted the agency to check on vehicle availability status and was told they could not find my reservation. After spending more than 30 mins on the phone, no reservation was able to found and I was told that they won't have an available vehicle until the day of my departure (3 days later). They informed me that they are a privately owned franchise and the booking agents don't have visibility into their fleet. The agents were rude and unhelpful. I will never book with Thrifty again.

We are normally Budget customers but they were unable to facilitate a car for us this time. We chose Alamo and the car we received was in poor shape mechanically and made very loud creeks and noises when driven on the freeway. The car is in need of serious mechanical repair. We were unsure of its road worthiness it was too late to change as we had to get to Charlotte but it made for a very uncomfortable drive and caused much anxiety. Mileage was past 38,000 miles. When we got to Charlotte airport we told the employee of our experience and he apologized profusely. It was nice that he listened to the feedback and he did give us a partial refund on our bill which we were grateful for. If he had not we would not consider Alamo in the future.

The car was nice.

The car was dirty. The lady at pickup was asleep in the back when I was waiting to get my car. The drop off site didn’t have my information and was unable to locate my rental agreement in their computer. I will take some responsibility for this because I lost my rental agreement.

Did not have the car I booked. They mentioned last minute pay more and upgrade had just 2 SUV on lot. The rear seat of the SUV was filled with cobwebs and spiders crawling around. An insect got into my daughters ear.

Drop off super easy and they returned a fairly valuable item I had left in the car via their Lost n Found department. That turned what could have been a sour ending to our trip into a very positive view of Enterprise.

The car was not quite a clean as it could have been a pick up. However it may have been one of the busiest weeks of the year for them in Augusta with the Masters just getting over that day.

Reserved a Mazda because we are considering purchasing one. Great opportunity to "test drive" for a couple of days. Staff upgraded us to a larger full sized Ford. Had been helping a relative move to a rural area of South Carolina and was unable to park his truck and trailer at car rental counter. Knew we would have to drop off my spouse to pick up the rental so reserved with her credit card. I waited in cell phone parking area of airport and included my DL and insurance info along with her, but agent would not add me as additional driver. So, less experienced, nervous operator got stuck with all the driving in Charleston for 2 days. She was NOT a happy camper!

Car was not ready when we got there, waited 2 hours, they gave us an SUV but it was WAY too small. Then they made the refund process a massive headache. All of this happened on 12/22 and we’re STILL waiting for them to release the $250 deposit hold on our credit card. Absolutely absurd.

The car was clean and ready.

At pick up I did ask if we could add one hour to our end time and the agent said it would add another days charge. I thought that seemed odd as we picked up at 7am and planned to drop it off originally the next day at 3pm. Later I called and a different agent allowed the extension without additional charges. As a customer I find it frustrating when you get two different answers to the same question.

I appreciated the professionalism of the agent that waited on me and the courteous manner in which I was treated. He took the time to find the most comfortable car on the lot for me. The automobile, a 2017 Mazda 6, was a comfortable smooth riding vehicle with great fuel economy.

Extremely low rental prices, always have vehicles on hand, clean cars, no wait drop off and friendly customer service.

Every time I rent with dollar they try and put you in a truck or or constantly try to get you to upgrade. It comes off pushy sometimes and the truck isn't ideal for a person who tells you the have to travel more than an hour away. Not a real issue but if i had to knit pick to find something negative then that would be it: and
