I went to pick up my car and they had none available for me, I checked back the next 3 days and still no vehicles for me to rent. Hertz finally called on the 5th day after my rental and said that they had an SUV. They said that the had 4 cars that had balled tires and they were not given the ok to have them approved to fix. They had two other cars that were available originally when I went to their location, but they would not allow me to have them just in case someone would rent them for more money. Both cars were still on the lot when I passed by the next few days as a friend had to take me to work. I travel all the time for work and have never received this LACK OF SERVICE in 31 years in the Oil & Gas industry. Do not risk being stranded by putting your faith in this company! Hertz has lost me as a customer forever!

The staff called me while I was changing planes to get to Houston and said they had to cancel my reservation because they were closing early for the holiday. It cost me over twice what my reservation was to get another car from another rental agency because they wanted to go home early and not honor their contract. I will never rent from Hertz again. this is the second time they have done this to me in Houston.

Staff were less than friendly upon drop-off and pickup. Became surly when they wanted to upcharge me for a larger car on a pre-paid rental. I reserved a compact and was told that they didn't have any, and would have to charge me more for a larger car. I refused, and the representative became surly and somehow found a compact car.

The car was filthy dirty, despite the "sanitized" logo on the door. Stained seats and carpet, funky odor, and generally dirty both inside and out. Left rear tire lost air and alarm went on; I had to hunt and hunt and then pay $1.50 to get air in the tires. I reported this when I turned in the car and the representative merely said "we've never had that complaint before with this car."

Car was very clean on the inside. But there were some stickers partially peeled off on the outside.

My reservation was sent to the wrong hertz rental location but once we got that straightened out, all went well.

Check-in person took great care of us when we determined we were at the wrong location. Problem-solved and explained airport tax issues on the spot and we were quickly on our way.

We started off picking up our car in the RIGHT spot, but it was the WRONG car (a really nice infiniti Q50); Kind of disappointing when we had to migrate our baggage to our plain-jane-Nissan-Sentra, Then there were no keys in it. Ha! Not really a big deal though, and we weren't delayed for more than an few minutes.
