Agent who helped us with the return was good. It was unclear why the amount we were told the rental would cost, and the cost the computer showed were different (not to our favor by quite a bit). He tried to find out what happened and made adjustments. Also told us about a great place to eat.
Hertz seems to rely on the clients to take pictures of any car damages when they pick up the vehicles, and have those pictures to show the agents when returning the car. Very much on the honor system, which if it works is fine - just surprised that they don't have such pictures in the Hertz system tagged to each vehicle.
