Friendly staff for pickup. Great downtown location.

The vehicle check. According to the staff, the vehicle was damage free. Upon review, I found multiple areas with minor to moderate damage. This was rectified and an apology was given.

The drop off was no hassle and straight forward

Staff was condescending and the car type listed was no where close to what came up on enterprise confirmation email. Took almost a full hour to sort the invoice out. Was offered a discount (I never asked for one) and then was not given the discount ?

NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY unprofessional staff. every location gives you a different information regarding the same policy. MY LAST TIME going to Enterprise for ANYTHING. I will be sure to let my followers and subscribers know how terrible of a car rental company and experience this was!

The staff at Gladstone Ottawa Avis were wonderful. I did have difficulty figuring out the Avis drop off place in Toronto was actually at the airport. It would be nice if they somehow could convey that since it had a street address. Unfortunately, I had to cut my trip short and was only charged for the days I rented. I will book again wiyh Avis.

I booked a dodge challenger but given a ford escape. The ford interior had not been vacuumed and had dirt and food debris in the console/gear shift. The exterior of the vehicle had not been washed and the windshield was covered with dead bugs. However, the drop-off at Toronto Pearson Airport was smooth and efficient

The location on Somerset street Ottawa is my absolute worst experience with car rental. Vehicle had so many KM and was starting to fall apart. Vehicle was dirty even though they said it was clean. Back seatbelt didn’t work. Weird brake noises. Was charged $750 credit card hold.

I really could have used a snow brush, but I didn’t find it. The windshield had recently been cleaned, leaving a residue on the inside, that made it hard to see when driving into the sun, as the sunshine lit up the residue.

I am appalled at how unsafe it was for Budget to be providing cars to folks in this Ottawa weather at this time of year with NO WINTER TIRES. Driving from Ottawa to Quebec felt so unsafe and took us so much longer than it should have because ALL SEASON TIRES ARE NOT WINTER TIRES. We were sliding all over the road and I am a very experienced and confident driver. It is deplorable that just because winter tires aren’t legally required in Ontario that Budget would be putting their patrons in such danger during the winter months. Not impressed.

Car was dirty , hadn’t been disinfected , vacuumed, customer service was ok , felt rushed .. not a personal experience. Most rental places drive you back , but they did not. Price was reasonable, got in on a good price. Don’t think I would go back to that particular location. Maybe try another location next time!

We had to insist on checking the car conditions in our presence at drop off like we did for pickup. Else the practice is to do it later on and send the observations to the customer by emails.
