Would not rent from addcar again. Upon arriving, guests queue in a long line for service via someone virtually present in a phonebooth. There’s only a few representatives onsite and they all work for different vendors. When you’re in the phone booth, to verify your ID and credit card, you have to put your documents under a camera which honestly feels sketchy. Add car requires 300k of car insurance or else you’re stuck paying for their car insurance which I think is the root of this whole scammy business venture. I am sure if I had the correct amount of insurance, there would be some other caviat where I’d have to pay a ton of extra money. Another customer was told that his deductible was too high so there was a $200+ fee. Everyone picking up cars there were upset because it really seemed misleading. Save yourself the trouble and just rent from an actual reputable rental agency. Godspeed!

Worst experience of my 40 years of travel! From the shuttle to the counter it felt like a scam & several times more fees were added until I finally cancelled the rental & took the shuttle back to TPA & rented from Avis. I’ll never use kayak again for supporting this business & highly recommend to only use known rental agencies. It was very stressful & time consuming to say the least. I lost my $$ paid to Kayak but at least I can offer feedback DONT USE OFF SITE CAR RENTALS AT TPA

Nothing was done well. I waited in line at the counter over an hour. The man in front of me had his reservation cancelled by the company because his flight had been delayed. They would not rent him a car because they only handled reservations. When they went to serve me, they started by asking for the title page of my insurance (Geico), which I don't carry with me. I provided the insurance card that describes coverage, then they told me to pay $145 for insurance on a 2 day rental, and $1000 deposit. I walked out and got an Uber. I would never ever use such a company like this again. Next week I am using Hertz.
