I was trying to rent a 4 wheel drive SUV in such snowy time but they only gave me front wheel drive one. I ended up getting stuck in the snow and paying $250 for towing fee. It is quite a disappointment that a customer couldn’t get what he was looking for.

Pick up and drop off we’re simple and efficient. Discovered a tire had a nail in it and was leaking. Called their 1-800 number and they arranged for me to swap out the car. Very satisfied with their response.

Car Interior was clean..except for Windows...outside was Filthy...first thing we did was go to a CarWash...if rental price had not been so good we would have definitely complained...but we didn't upon return...

Attitude of person serving us was rude & abrupt, no information or helpful advice, car filthy inside & out, bottles of water with yellow liquid in them-urine? and cans under seat, so much gravel & sand as if car hadn't been cleaned in weeks and same with inside windscreen, damaged & outside of service after 50 miles of driving, doors/dash/seats & boot dirty-all vinyl scuffed. Photos & video taken of car at pick-up and drop=off after we cleaned it.

Renting a vehicle for summer trip out of Boston (or anywhere!) was much more challenging than ever due to (almost post) COVID and the shortage with high gas prices. Everyone I interacted with through National acted as if the knew me and actually cared that we got what we needed (minivan for 6 + luggage), we’re super helpful with delayed pick up due to Hurricane Elsa blowing through, and even made sure we secured a safe Uber to get everyone (+ more luggage!) back to the airport as stress free as possible. What potentially could have been the most challenging part of our trip was a delight!

The rental staff was nowhere to be found when I arrived to pick up the car. I was not able to rent a car and it completely messed up my travel plans. Do not rent from this location. It is completely unreliable. Stay clear. I will not attempt renting a car from this location ever again.
