Everyone was so nice. And when we went to pick up our compact car, the agent looked at my 6’5” son and said that she didn’t think he would fit in the compact. So she upgraded us to a larger car. Definitely earned my respect and future business. Thanks. :)

Friendly staff. Easy drop off.

Tough to contact since toll free numbers never answered. Confusing that this location was shared with two other car companies and made it to difficult to find a direct number. Also the location closed early on Sat which was weird. Great price thought when all other companies were gouging people.

Not Alamo's fault. priceline never mentioned to me until pick-up date that the rental office would be twenty miles from the Orlando airport, with no shuttle service. Rental wound up being way more expensive than my Avis member discount. It also really put a damper on my visit as more time had to be allotted to planning the trip from and to the rental office away from the airport.

Drop off at this location was horrible. Both uber drivers had problems getting there as gates were locked and there were no signs indicating they were behind a hotel through security.

Rental was prearranged online. A one day/24 hr plus rental. We were staying at a different hotel but needed a car on our last day. We arranged to rent the car at a nearby hotel that had the rental agency located in the building. We picked up our car there with efficiency and used it for the day and the next morning and we were able to drop it off at the airport. There were no snafus other than my own, when I bypassed a pay toll. I don’t know how much that will end up costing me. But overall I give my experience a high rating.

Flight was slightly delayed. When I arrived at the airport there was no one at the Payless booth. I was told to go to the Avis line. After 30+ minutes in the avis line, I find out it's the wrong location. I call the right Payless location and no one answers even though they were supposed to close 30 mins later. I call the next morning and explain to them what happened and they refused to help me. I ended up without a rental.

The only thing I liked was that they have unlimited tolls for 11.99.

The car was not clear. Literally I had to clean it myself because there were cheetos’ stains and bread crumbs all over the car. They should keep their cars disinfected and clean especially now due to the pandemic...

I got my money refunded!!

We arrived at the Marriott Hotel in Orlando Florida to pick up our pre paid for rental car. Our flight was a couple of hours late arriving due to mechanical problems. We did arrive at her office within the Marriott Hotel at 5:50 to find that the lady already had left for the day!!!! We also called her phone when we arrived at the Orlando airport to give her a heads up that we are on our way but she never answered her phone. We called many numbers that we could find to figure this out. We did understand that there wasn't anything they could do until they talked with the lady in question. We took yet another cab to the motel we were staying at for the night. We finally got a hold of the gal in the morning. First she was a little apologetic saying she would call me back in a while. She did finally call me back and said that she was at her desk until 6:00 p.m. I told her that that wasn't the case because we were there at 5:50 and were told from another disgruntled customer, that she had left at 5:45! She rudely said that there wasn't a refund or car and too bad for us. She then said that since we were two hours late picking up our prepaid car we were just out of luck because we were more than two hours late, we had no recourse. She stated that this was the policy!!!! We asked to speak to a manager, her reply was to call the 800 number that we had called in the first place. We did call that number and filed a complaint against her. They stated that they could see if they could find me a car or if I wanted, I could file a complaint against her. We chose the later!! Another cab fee to our condo for a total of $148.00 in cab fees. Our vacation resort did help us find a car, we were so grateful. I'm just surprised that a respected company, Hertz has such a rude person with their name behind them. On a side note, her office was a complete mess!! I don't think it had been vacuumed in quite awhile!!

This was a terrible experience. I got to Hertz to pick up my rental and they didn't have any cars available for me despite having a reservation and confirmation. They had no solutions for resolution! Terrible customer service.

We waiting in line at the Orlando Airport for 45 minutes to be told we had to go off site to pick up our van. Took a cab, at least $60 later we arrive at the address and are told that the address they gave us on the print out never had a Hertz counter! (I believe this is a Kayak problem, not Hertz). We kept the cab and started to go to another address, while calling and talking with Hertz. At $80 we gave up and went to Alamo, $100 cab ride. But I will say, Hertz did say they would refund the money we already paid for this van. It will take awhile, of course, so we are still waiting. This was a pretty awful experience, so beware, check your reservation carefully. We do not recommend going through any of the services like Kayak or Priceline. GO directly to the rental car company.

We took a Lyft to rent our car only to find out there was no rental car there. We called and they said Expedia made the mistake. We ended up getting no car for our trip.

The pick up and drop off location was closed. I was stuck in the airport for two hours trying to find anyone who would help me get a car. It wasn’t until I reached my breaking point that I finally had someone help me and get me a car.

Be more flexible and have more staff available. When I called about the car rental, it kept directing me to hotel.

When I arrived there was a sign that said the location was closed and offered phone numbers for 2 Thrifty locations across town. I called them and they did not have the vehicle I reserved available. I ended up with NO rental car despite having reserved more than 30-days in advance.

Kayak should not partner with Thrifty. The pickup location I was sent to was closed and Thrifty did not have any rental to accommodate my reservation. If you book with Thrifty, you might end up with NO RENTAL CAR like we did.

The location did not exist. The location of pick up moved in January. I booked in March for a placed that was supposed to exist. Dollar staff was useless in trying to resolve the situation. Poor treatment and lack of professionalism. Paid for a service that I did not receive. Absolutely business fraud.

Absolutely nothing. When I got to Orlando and Uber to the rental car counter it wasn’t even open. No cars were available. Here I am in Orlando on vacation with no vehicle. Call Dollar they said they could do nothing for me. That I had to go through Priceline. I called Priceline they said they could do nothing for me because I needed to go through kayak. Called Kayak and they said I needed to cancel my reservation and make another reservation. There were no cars available at the price I was originally paying. They wanted more than double what I was originally paying. They were very unhelpful and really didn’t care that I had an issue. I tried getting some type of discount code so I can try to get another vehicle somewhere else. They said no codes were available. I ended up finding a car not through you people and it ended up costing me $580. I was not very happy but at least they had a vehicle. I don’t think I will ever go through Priceline kayak or deal with dollar rental car again because of the customer service sucks.

Nothing!! Absolutely terrible experience that I will tell to all my friends and family.

Everything!! I reserved a rental car to be picked up and dropped off at Orlando International Airport (MCO). Upon arrival at the Dollar Car Rental desk at MCO, they informed me that they had no rental car for my reservation because the pick-up location on the reservation was in downtown Orlando which was nearly 20 miles away from the airport. I paid a taxi more than $50 to drive me to this pick up location only to be told that this location is for drop offs only. They do not offer the service to pick-up a rental car at their location. I called the Dollar Rental desk at the Orlando Airport and they said they have no cars available. Now I have a reservation but no rental car. I called the reservation line several times to describe my situation and was repeatedly disconnected when asked to be placed on hold. When I tried to get an alternate vehicle the cost was well over $1,000 due to spring break limited availability. I had to spend 4 days in Orlando with no rental car and no easy way to travel around town.

They charged us an extra 277 dollars because they told us the wrong pick up site. The girl at the counter said it was an extra 50 dollars but the actual.charge was 277. Will never rent from dollar again.

I booked a car rental BMW convertible, made a payment through the kayak application, came to pick up the car and it was not available, I was offered to change it for an Audi convertible, which was $70 more expensive and I had to agree to a replacement. when I received the audi car, it had a lot of damage on the left passenger side, upon completion of the lease, one of the scratches that existed when receiving the car was tried to be pinned on me. be careful and make detailed video and photo fixation of the car

Our rep was very pleasant and brought our car to us quickly. The rental we got was just the right size, and it ran smoothly during our day trip. We did find ants in the weirdest spot, the visor on the driver side. I couldn’t blame the inspectors, because it was such a random spot that ants would be in, but our rep did take care of the situation, so thank you :) Drop off was a breeze.
