Rental cars are to expensive

Car was low mileage and upgraded us after some minor delays at pickup. Friendly staff and made sure that we had everything we needed. Maintenance alert was on as car needed an oil change. It did not disrupt our trip. We picked up car in SLC and dropped off in St. George. Would definitely choose Enterprise again.

Need to let renters know if their drop off in another city, the hours of the proposed drop off site, especially if on a Sunday. The Malibu we had for almost 3 weeks was a good and economical vehicle.

Friendly staff, however obviously having issues where we picked up at SLC airport. Many minor things, but in our case the car we were given had very bad front tires - bald - these should have been changed I am certain they were illegal. If I had noticed before we were halfe a state away I would not have taken the vehicle.

Double booked my vehicle had to go back twice

So the car I got had definitely not been cleaned - there was pop explosion debris from the tailgate to the front seat. Front tires were nearly bald, a back tire wouldn't stay inflated, and the driver's side window got stuck in the down position if it was cold outside. When I passed this along to the check-in clerk there was no apology, no offer to adjust rate, just a note to take the car out of service - IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN IN SERVICE! I will not use Payless/Avis again.

Why do they not send me a receipt afterwards and instead just charge me for it? How do I know what the charges were?

Was thrilled with my vehicle and the ease of rental and return.

Avis was overloaded at 12am. Stood in line behind 20-40 other customers while j Lu one attendant helped check people in. Then a second one came and the first one lest. Then 90 minutes later, 2 more attendants came who had never worked the computers upstairs. Reserved cars were gone but got satisfactory replacement. Workers did their best, but Avis/Kayak never should have accepted that many customers while all of the 4 other rental agencies had empty lanes and 2-3 reps ready to help.

Booked thru Kayak, but Hotwire was somehow involved. Budget didn’t have the kayak/Hotwire reservation details, so basically had to rebook at the counter. Also the vehicle rented wasn’t available, instead of minivan we got a passenger van. Big difference, those aren’t “similar”. Had I known the minivan wasn’t available, I would’ve have rented elsewhere. Very poor booking experience.

When I arrived at the Budget desk, the wait was an hour as 2 of the 3 employees went away for 45 minutes. The online check in didn’t work through their website and app so express check in didn’t work. When I arrived at the desk, the attendant wouldn’t accept my physical MasterCard as it was and Apple Card through Goldman Sachs. She said that they didn’t do Apple Pay which is not how it works with the actual card. This was the card used for the reservation and there was no forewarning about card they would accept. They wouldn’t take another card number and when I asked to get an explanation or talk to another person, she turned off the computer in front of me and moved to another and called the next person in line. The customer service line had me on hold for additional 45 minutes without anyone picking up. I wound up having to rent from another company costing hundreds more and the 3 hour delay made it so I missed skiing that day which was the purpose of the trip. Very disappointing in general and the customer service overall was horrible.

Waited an hour in line only to be told by the extremely rude employee that there wasn’t a car for me unless I wanted to wait at least another hour for a car to be ready or pay double the rate for a different car. I walked over to Avis and got in a car in 10 min. Budget SLC lost my business forever.

The only complaint I have is I was unaware I could not use my Cash App debit card to pay for my rental at pick up. They do not accept Venmo cards either. Even if your name is printed on the card, their system thinks these are pre-paid cards and blocks the transaction. This was an issue for me because I had put the money intended for my rental in my Cash App account. That made pick up last longer for me. Everything else was great. The representatives at pick up and drop off were understabding and friendly. The car was in excellent condition and fit our needs perfectly. I will definitely use Alamo again.

Adam was very patience to teach us how to use the new technology of the car when we picked up the car. The car is very smooth when we drove it. It is a very good car! The lady ( I forgot her name) is very friendly when we drop off the car.

Window washer didn’t work otherwise car was great

Additional charges were ridiculous. Printed receipt showed we booked a 4 door vehicle and at the desk they said we only booked a 2 door so we had to pay upgrade fee.

The Hertz representative at the counter in Salt Lake City was professional and super-friendly! I don't remember her name...hope her brother in New Zealand makes it to Utah!

The customer service was lacking. First, we were put in a car that wasn't the size we had paid for. The person at the counter was rude about it and only the Hertz gold customer service was helpful. After arriving an hour late, we were also told our car wasn't ready and we'd have to wait 30 minutes for it to be cleaned.

Drop off location was not easy. Drop off on parking deck then had to go into the hotel/casino to drop off keys

why charge for additional driver when i used my own insurance coverage this charge was a rip off not pleased please credit my account for inapproiate charge $108.00 for the week
