Cheap Car Rentals in San Francisco Airport from AED 132

Super long line. Now that Avis is Budget (and vice versa) and their systems don’t speak (or something like that) beware your car could be double booked. After long wait for the car that’s what happened with us. Worked out in the end for us and other party but took time. Given the $ it’s not the wait and service level one should receive.

Nice vehicle. Didn't like the price,the upsale, , the lies,agent must get a commission for overselling to unsuspecting seniors..$294 for 1 day rental. That price should come with a driver.

Why hit a gas surcharge when the driver filled it up and videoed the gas gage, and then there is no way to contest the fuel surcharge of 9.99$ as it is an ereceipt. Just makes me feel like budget is untrustworthy as that charge is a scam as I filled it up past what it was supposed to be.

Rami was lightning fast when i returned the car and gave me directions to the terminal. Excellent job!

I was charged 5x the quoted rate for the same vehicle and less time using the same vehicle I booked. I was overcharged and the staff and manager refused to reimburse me.

Despite reserving and partially paying ahead of time, the wait to see someone at the counter was 2 hours, as Dollar and Thrifty combined made for a very long line of people. I don't think it's right that person's with reservations have to wait in the same line with people who don't have any reservations.

They did not have any cars when we arrived - and had to wait nearly 2 hours in the rental car office until they had a vehicle available.

We rented a car and got to the airport at 3:30 and called them to come pick us up and the lady said they closed at four and we might not make it in time, I told her we were ready for pick up at the airport and waited for the shuttle and nobody ever came to pick us up and when I called back, the office was closed. We never received our rental car and had to rent a car from a different company. And I’m still fighting to try and get a refund.

This company is scam and NOT in operation. I strongly request to eliminate this company from the website. There mentioned the airport pick-up and I called several times to the number(also tried the courtesy phone at the terminal) without response. I have reached to its emergency contact and it promised to come in 10min, which turned out to be more than 1 hour in the pick-up point but no one comes. Finally I managed to go by taxi to the office by my own expense, to find no one working in the building.

Price was very good. From the beginning, the lady at the desk was (at times) rude, not truthful, was also not helpful when explaining policies and options. Such as, rudely telling us they weren’t going to be open when we had scheduled our drop off and that “Kayak should have told you!”. She was not truthful when explaining the tolls we would have to pay if using the Golden Gate Bridge (never mentioning how we could pay a one time fee, or that we only needed to pay going into San Francisco) trying to get us to pay the “toll package). She lied when we called for the 2nd time for a shuttle pick up at the airport & she told us the shuttle had already been by twice (we had been standing there from the beginning.) The attitude was the main issue, rude and defiant from the beginning. The price was very good, but next time we will go somewhere else.

Waiting time to pick up the car was too long. Around 30 min.

There was very little to like. After getting to the rental car place 2 hours late due to my flight taking off late, I had to wait at least 40 minutes to get to the counter, even though there were only 4 people in front of me. I have NEVER seen anything take so long to process. There were 3 employees when I got there, but one by one they would disappear until there was just one left, who actually disappeared for a while, too. I have no idea where they went & why they left. Finally, another person came out to help, but she was the most surly person that I have ever dealt with in customer service. The other employee made NO effort to hurry up & seemed to be just chit chatting with a customer for over 30 minutes, even though the line was getting longer & longer. Then when I finally got to the counter & processed, I was told that it was going to be 40 minutes to get my car--40 MINUTES??!!! What on earth took so long? They told me that they needed to wash the car. It really takes 40 minutes to wash the car?! There were so many people waiting for their car when I got to the garage. I was told it would be in Row E, but when they finally brought it, it was in Row F, & they didn't bother to tell me that they brought it up, so I didn't notice it there. I finally found someone to ask (another problem--there is no one around to talk to about problems), & she found it in Row F but then another woman came up & said she was told to take the same car (even though I had documentation that had the license plate number for that car), so not sure how that happened. Finally after about 2 hours I got my car & got out of that rental car hell! I can't believe that there isn't a more streamlined way to get cars to people who have been flying most of the day & in a different time zone that just want to eat dinner & go to bed. I am a VERY dissatisfied customer!!!

Waited 30 minutes at checkin for someone to show up behind the desk. Got an angry Indian man at checkin who called me a liar saying he was there the whole time and charged me a late fee, despite a me having checkin photos dated 30 min prior.
