i booked a van with enterprise through Kayak on my family vacation. when i get there, not only did they not have the 15 passenger van i booked. they had nothing so my family and i were running silly trying to find something else. HORRIBLE.
Location is under the Sheraton in Denver, staff is friendly and car was great

I was charged double after not booking the correct location which I called and confirmed months in advance with an Avis support rep. Horrible experience.
My reservation search was for Denver International Airport pick up and when I arrived I found that the reservation was made for Downtown! The rate was several hundreds more!
I had selected Denver international airport as the location. When I arrived at the airport Avis they did not have a reservation for me… your company failed to connect the dots on the arrival location for selected and the arrival location you sent to Avis. You failed.
Devon at the union station location was absolutely wonderful. Our vacation started to get really stressful and he turned it around; he was so patient and very personable. I will rent from sixt every time i am in Denver! An extra surprise is how lovely the location and building itself are.
This company is a scam. Bad charges and last minute changes. Stay away.
Kayak wound up sending me the Denver City location, not the airport. The rental company made sure I was aware of that. I was not. They were super helpful. The city location is right across from the train station, and for $10 bucks you can take the train to the airport as well. It costs less to pick up in the City than at the airport.

Handy location across from Union Station. We took the train from the airport (buy your $10.50 tickets via the Uber app) and saved 60% on the car rental Vs. what they wanted at the terminal! Trains run every 15mins..and it’s a 40min trip by car/train either way..
I signed up for Sixt through Kayak. I tried to cancel my reservation, but because it was booked through Kayak, I was unable to cancel on their website, because they said I was supposed to cancel through Kayak. But Kayak also does not assist in canceling. I emailed several times with Sixt, trying to cancel my reservation, and they never canceled it and charged me the full fee. I will not be using Kayak nor Sixt ever again for renting cars.
Avoid renting through this company and Kayak if you can help it. I paid in full and was charged $100 to cancel same day after they said pick up location could be changed….for another $200. I was searching Denver international airport and booked a rental for pick up downtown, not even sure why that was in my search results. It defaults to pay in full so I had no idea. Kayak said they have to be the ones to fix it, they said it had to be kayak. At the end of the day I lost $100 but I can only imagine what else they would have swindled us for. Never again for Kayak or this rental company.
There weren’t any cars available but Thrifty still charged my credit card for insurance. Will not recommend or try snd rent from again.
No car was available, I was told that Hertz customers would get priority because they had priority over Thrifty. I could not get a car and had to turn around and come home. I had to call to get my money back for the rental but airfare, hotel and taxi to the tune of $500 is out of pocket and nobody wants to accept responsibility! This appears to be common occurance based on the input from Thrifty managers.

The car was not available for pickup, I could not pick upnthe vehicle despite paying the fee upfront. The site continue to book the nonexistent car.
