The car was very nice but there was a tiny, barely perceptible dent on the underside of the car which I didn't notice when collecting the car and wasn't noted on the contract. When I returned the car Greg insisted on recording it, despite the inconsequential nature of the dent (he actually had real trouble taking a photo to record the damage). In hindsight I was foolish for thinking that without the CDW they would act in a fair manner and and goodwill I had for Hertz is now gone.
It was automatic like I paid for.
If I wanted a van, I would of paid for a van. The reason I used hertz was because they had a good deal on a smaller car which I wanted to drive the small roads of northern UK. When I picked up the car the worker didn't even mention that I was being given a minivan. I went back to him after I saw the car was a minivan and he said that there was nothing he could do. Very rude and dishonest service. The car also had garbage in it from the previous host.
The place is closed on Sunday and there were no explanations as to what to do with the car.
Had booked for 4 days, ended up returning few hours earlier and they auto increased the price for early return. As a gold member didn’t like surprises. Will be looking at alternatives
I didn´t like that Hertz charged me more than my reservation. I made a complaint but neither Hertz nor Car Rentals would do anything about it. They´ve also charged for something I dind´t asked for.
I rented a car on august 29th at 10am and I left after work to pick it up. Reservation was canceled and I was told there was nothing that could be done. Hertz is pointing to Kayak and did not try to help me in any way. I will not book through Kayak again. I lost my money and had to take an expensive Uber to Stansted Airport
