Cheap Car Rentals in Pineapple Park, West Palm Beach

We had to wait over an hour for our car to be ready. Our flight was an hour delayed already and then to have to wait for an extra hour for a car that reserved for 2 hours prior is very disappointing. They washed it and gave it to us dripping wet so once the drops dry we weren’t able to see out of the windows well and had to wash them ourselves. The pick up process was very disappointing.

After waiting in line for over an hour to get an agent, we were told to go outside and our car would be ready in 15-20 minutes. How would we get our car? We were supposed to look for the model and color of the car and it would have its flashers on. Well there were several other people waiting. We finally saw what we thought was our car and no one else was claiming it so we decided to take it. At that point, we saw the agent who helped us (apparently they were extremely short on help and the agents were doing everything including bringing cars out to the customers). We showed the agent our receipt and pointed to the car and he said that was our car. Our receipt did not have a clearly defined license number so we couldn’t confirm. When we got inside, we realized that the car’s mileage did not match our receipt. We had already loaded the car and were exhausted at that point after traveling all day and then waiting for a car. But I thought we should double check because it just didn’t seem right. My husband went back inside and asked the agent a second time if that was our car and he said yes. When we get to the exit gate, our paperwork did not match the car we were in and had to go back to the lot. As it turned out, we ordered a full size car and the one we had was an intermediate. But, it only had 8k mileage whereas the full size car we were supposed to get had 43k. My husband went back inside and asked if we could jut keep the car we had. They changed the paperwork and off we went. Our flight landed at 4:30 and we were leaving with our car at 7:45 so it was now dark. After we got on 95, I noticed what looked like a small hole/crack in the windshield. At that point we were not going back again. We called Budget the next morning to report the damaged windshield and also that we paid for a full size and got an intermediate due to the debacle at the agency. They gave us a $100 credit. But we ended up driving a smaller car than we wanted for two weeks not to mention the frustration with the whole process.

Very, Very, Very slow and disorganized with picking up vehicle. Will never use West Palm Beach Budget again.

Did not realize until we got to FL that our rental was off-site of the airport. Hertz agent at airport told us we needed to get a taxi to pick up car. No problem. We got our car, a Mission, roomy enough for my husband to get in and out of. Drop off was easy and they called a taxi for us.

Customer Service was very good at this location.

I waited in line for 1.5 hours to get my car. The agent handed me an envelope with no contact in it. I got to the gate and had to go back. He said he emailed it, which I never got. He did not tell me he was emailing something I need to get off the lot. Even if I had gotten it, what was I supposed to do—boot up my laptop at the gate and hand it to the booth? I will NEVER rent from Payless or Budget at this location again.

I liked the price, however it is confusing that we dealt only with Budget RAC staff.

The agent who served us was wonderful. He was friendly, polite, accommodating and very knowledgeable. He was the only agent on duty, had a line forming, and took the time to greet each person and say that he would be with them shortly. Excellent customer service. The interior could have been a little cleaner and the interior windshield had spray stains on it that impacted our vision at night. All in all, great experience.

The first car shook when you went 40 mph or more, and had a dirty interior windshield. The second car that replaced it, had a driver's side seat belt that was broken. The third car was okay, but I had no windshield washer fluid. All of this car changing was very stressful, as it made me late for a medical appointment. I would never rent from them again. The people that I interacted with at Sixt were all very nice.

This was the ONLY company that let me rent a car in FL and drop it off in GA 2 days later. All other companies required me to rent for 1+ weeks. I had never heard of Sixt before; will definitely be renting from this company again!

Windows and mirrors were not clean.

Nothing Great value, great service. Easy pick up (15 minutes max) easy drop off (literally 2 minutes) Awesome value all around

Car was very dirty.

I booked the auto rental on 2/13/23 for $444.09 and they charged my credit card. I just received a billing from Fox that says $660.00. Something is wrong .. Today is Sunday so I will be calling on Monday morning to find out how I got screwed. They better fix this because I am not going to pay the additional amount. Some Scam from A rental agency I never heard of.

Everything was fine, although the poor employee was so focused on getting a good Google review that it seemed to be the main focus of the transaction. I was early for my reservation and there were only two cars available. I was told that they couldn't guarantee that the reserved car would be ready at the correct time, so they focused on upselling me on a higher rate for one of the available cars when other companies would give the upgrade at the same rate. The shuttle driver who took me back to the airport was lovely. She was very informative and friendly.
