Car wasn't clean upon pick-up but attendant was helpful and friendly. Also, windshield wipers were very bad -- we had to get them replaced several days later.

Provide the total of the rental with all the fees that were going to be associated with the rental. I did use my rental because of the hidden fees that brought the total over a $1000 dollars and it needing to be on a credit card.

Easy and quick pickup and very easy dropoff. Vehicle was in excellent condition.

With complicated user interface systems and no real standards between manufactures it would be good to offer an orientation to the customer but it would require additional personal.

They charged me over $200 for gas, when I returned the car fully fueled. In corresponding with them they said they would refund some of the money. I haven't seen a cent!

Car was clean and drop off easy.

They push the fuel option without explaining that you are charged for a full tank of gas regardless of what's in the car when you return, plus it appear that you are then charged taxes on this. Yes, the details are in the contract, but they carefully avoid explaining it. Never do that again. Also, they are less than candid about the insurance option, which probably leads most people to accept the "basic" plan not realizing that it adds dramatically to the cost. I believe that they do these things intentionally and many people end up paying much more than they anticipated. I probably won't use this company again.

Loved the staff in the morning when we ultimately picked up our car!

When we arrived approximately 3 minutes before closing time, with a reservation, the desk was closed. We were forced to hire an Uber that night and again in the morning to return and get our car. Two other parties also arrived when we did.

The pick-up was horrible due to the hour and 18-minute wait. Other than that, the agent was competent & helpful, the car was fine, and the drop-off was as well.

The pick-up was horrible. One person at the desk with a dozen customers on line. (It's not as if Advantage didn't know how many reservations they had that afternoon.) I waited an hour and 18 minutes (I timed it) to be served. No more Advantage for me.

I reserved a compact car and was given a 7 seat Voyager van as the only option at the cost in gas milage of probably 10 miles per gallon. With the driving I did, this added significantly to my trip cost. I tried to trade it out in 2 other cities and was told that there were no cars available

Pick up/drop off was fine. The problem was being upcharged for a car that was in no way an improvement. All basic features/nothing special in the car. The sales procedure for trying to upcharge customers at pickup is not welcoming. Just give them a good vehicle at the price they reserved.

Easy pickup at ABQ airport, agent was friendly and helpful. A bit surprised that the vehicle was a 2019 model. Not an issue, car was fine, just expected a newer vehicle. Drop off in Santa Fe was a bit difficult. The Hertz office is inside a hotel parking garage. We had the address, but there is no outside signage indicating that Hertz had an office inside, and no mention on our paperwork. Luckily the desk clerk at our hotel knew where the Hertz return was located.

I feel that Kayak deceived me into getting a prepaid rental with a group, RentalCar.com that in hindsight was like a sham. In the end, I wish I had not accepted it. I will never never never never never use Kayak again for anything. So thank you for that.

The car was not clean to say the least. We were very uncomfortable with a dirty car. It was dirty inside and out. We couldn’t go back to tell them at the counter because we were exhausted. We took the dirty car.
