1rst car was leaking oil They brought me a second car which was extremly dirty (left over food,dog hair,smell,etc.), no Gas , no air in the tires They Manager did a great Job when I was complaining about the situation I would Not choose fox rental ever again

Will never rent a car from Fox ever again. It was my first and last time. To start it off, the agent helping me at the counter seemed really nice but come to find out she was lying about everything. Made me believe I didn’t have a choice to insurance, which cost me $35 a day. When I got to my first hotel, I called the company asking to email me a new contract without the insurance as my own auto insurance covers rentals and this is an optional purchase. They told me I had to go back to where I got the car to sign a new contract, which was cities away at this point. So that was a no go. Another optional purchase was the toll program. The agent told me if I don’t purchase it, the company will charge me $20 each time I go through a toll. So I did. I never went through a toll once. The ones I did see where free. So that was $12 a day. Then, before we left the agent said “oh don’t worry about filling up gas, the gas here at Fox is a lot cheaper so we will fill it up when you return the car.” Well I chose to fill it up, as I came to the conclusion she was just a flat out liar and when I returned I was so happy I did, as their gas was $8.99 a gallon, which is double what I paid for on the road! What a hoax. This company is shady. The vehicle itself looked like it was just ran through a car wash, not even dried, and it had a weird smell to it. Their were scratches and dents everywhere on it. And all the tires were filled with 50 psi, and it should be 33 psi. After a day, the low pressure tire gauge came on and we ended up having to go to a tire place because one of the tires were flat. Which explains why all of the tires had more air then needed, perhaps trying to cover up that flat? Totally not worth the money or hassle to rent from here!

Will never use Fox again. Horrible service.

I liked the ease of picking up the car, the thoughtful shuttle to and from the airport, and the gas mileage of the car. Regarding being able to reach someone who worked at the local Enterprise rental, that was really difficult. I needed to ask about how they handled local toll billing and I was unable to talk to anyone even in our country. When I finally was directed, after two unsuccessful attempts, as to how to reach the specific location, I only got their answering machine. It would have been helpful to talk to someone from the specific branch in order to know how they charge for local tolls, as they are all electronic and I couldn't pay for them with cash. It took me an hour to finally find the information on my own on the Enterprise website. I had other questions, too, and the process was difficult.

Very accommodating when we needed to change vehicle sizes

Efficient pick up & drop off., Car smelled like cigarette smoke. Noticed it initially but realized it was bad when I opened the back of SUV and was strong odor plus lingered the entire week I had the car.

Pick-up and drop-off were quick and easy. The vehicle was clean and smelled good.

The staff was friendly under difficult circumstances. Many flights were canceled due to weather and we were in the line from 5:15 until 7:40 but the staff was doung the very best they could under the circumstances.

The car itself was fine. That said, some issues need to be addressed. Pickup and drop off we’re both areas that need improvement. Wait times for long lines to pickup could be solved with adding employees. There were literally two people checking customers in with a line going almost out the door. It took an unacceptable amount of time to reach the counter. Even when a third employee arrived, it wasn’t enough, but it helped. If there were more staff it would have allowed the staff to be more helpful while checking customers in and GUIDING them to their vehicle. The staff were polite, they just didn’t have enough time to do their job because of the long line. This led to confusion on how to pick cars up after checking in. Many customers were unsure of how to get their car after checking in and just standing around as they were not informed properly of how to get to and in their vehicles. On the return end it was just as chaotic. No signage for drop off or instructions of how to leave/exit the vehicle. No staff directing the drop-off process and people were literally pulling in and just abandoning their cars, and dragging their luggage to the bus shuttle station to head towards the terminal. Signs that say, ‘park and leave car here with key on the dashboard’ would be immensely helpful. Also, spacing some garbage cans around car drop-off spots would also be a cheap and easy way to help customers leave their vehicles in good shape for the staff to turn the cars around for use again. Any garbage cans were a very long walk from the area where people were leaving vehicles. Again, no staff were directing you how to drop off and return the car. The staff you could locate and interact with were helpful and polite. Providing more staff would solve almost every issue (signage & garbage cans are also cheap fixes). There is no way that Budget is unaware of these issues and needs “feedback” to gain awareness of them. The car met expectations but getting and dropping it off (which is really the rental experience) did not.

Many more fees were added to the rental adter booking with kayak. Kayak is a tourist trap.

There customer service was the worst they kick us out because they close at 1am and our plane was late, we had to go to Bufget to get a car. Never again will I use kayak

At the pickup the sales reps were more interested in watching Denver Broncos foootball on their phone and upselling me on things I didn't need than answering the question I asked about what cars in the class I reserved were available or the price difference between the car they wanted me to take vs. The car I had reserved. Their attitude was not rude but genuinely indifferent, since they were distracted with the football game.
