I reserved an intermediate vehicle and received a booking confirmation. Shortly there after when I went to the rental location to pick up the rental car I was informed that instead of the car that I had booked and reserved they only had a truck. I am a short petite gir and I did not rent nor want a truck to drive. I was unapologetically told there were no other vehicles despite my booking confirmation and there is nothing they can do. I left the rental location unsatisfied during a time that finding an alternative rental car in town was quite nearly impossible. They went into the system at this time and canceled my reservation as expected since they had been able to give me car; however, I was still charged the insurance on said vehicle but I never picked up. Now I’m having to deal with the insurance company to try and get a refund , as reaching customer service through the rental company is nearly impossible.
