No car available even though we reserved one. Unhelpful staff. Would not give us an upgrade for free even though they had no car for us in the class we reserved. All very disappointing.

Reserved a car, but the car wasn't available. Budget offered a higher cost car, for almost $40/day more than the original price. That was unacceptable, and I was ready to find another rental place. As I was standing outside figuring that out, someone returned a car, and the guy at the desk told me he could let me have that for $10/day more. That was preferable to finding another car, but still disappointing. On the positive side, they turned the car around quickly.

Service from staff and car was good. However the price by was dishonest - I travelled to Charlotte especially for the rate offered on line. Upon arrival there (and incurring a hotel cost to make this possible) the price at pick up was almost double - partially as no car in the class booked on line was possible and partially because of other costs thrown up. The online offer was totally misleading and so we felt cheated … We rented again direct from budget website in Miami a week later and that was totally different - what we chose on line is exactly what we paid in person. We had no choice in Charlotte as we had traveled 100s of km especially for the service. Please can you look into this as this is unfair advertising and pricing.

The van did not pick us up. We waited 40 plus minutes and had to take a cab to their location. The local phone number given to us went to a national location. We could not get info as to when we might have been picked up. The local Payless employee could have not been less helpful and offered no apology. We will never use Payless again.

The price was good, no secret charges. The staff were very nice and I was in and out asap. Car was great and got me exactly where I needed to go!

The shuttles take a long time but I understand why. I took a cab instead to find the NC airport location.

I had to wait at the airport for over an hour for a shuttle to the site. when I got to the site I had to wait for a car and it to be cleaned. I was really disappointed. I have used Payless in the past and was satisfied , I think I might have to really think about using u people again

The manager was very interested in making us happy and "upgraded" the car. However, there was very little selection. The first car we were shown was dirty and on empty. We were disappointed.

The selection in vehicles was awful. The cars had a lot of mileage and they weren't clean, were low on gas and just disappointing. We specifically choose Enterprise because our experience has always been good. However, we would not rent from here again.

We arrived at 11:10 for our 11 am reservation only to be told by an employee in the parking lot they were closed and she refused to help us. Had to drive across Charlotte to get another car which then took over an hour despite only one person ahead of us in line. Car smelled like smoke

I did an online reservation for a car and then called ahead to confirm the pickup. When I arrived they said they had no vehicles. I wasted money and time on an Uber to go get a vehicle that they didn’t even have. The front desk staff said “I told them to stop accepting reservations, we ain’t got no cars”

Ease of booking and that's it

While on my flight I received a voicemail that they no longer had any rental cars left. Why would they confirm a booking and then sell out. Did they know prior to my booking they had none left? Or did they continue to give customers cars that had no booking? Voicemail was very short with no explanation just that "they had no vehicles". This was a busy weekend I know. It don't confirm a booking if you have nothing!
