The car was great that I ended up with! Comfortable and was a joy to drive.
The guy in the office was a really nice person and a gentleman with the luggage in to car clean up the car from snow gave us a upgrade free off charge we should feel like we’re the best customer
The car was quite clean, but the fragrances of the cleansers they used were headache-inducing. I drove with the windows cracked and circulated fresh air for the first day. By Day 2 it was fine. Surely they could leave windows open after cleaning to let those odors air out?

Everything went very well, car was nice and no issues - just the prices right now on rentals are out of control - but having rented so far in advance sure helped, could have been worse.
The place could have been open when I got there so I wasn’t stranded at the car rental.
My issue is with Kayak, actually. I had selected CLE Hopkins Intl for pickup and drop off. Apparently the car I chose from your list was at a location 20 miles away from the airport. The confusion meant I had to upgrade to a minivan for $30 more. Not happy. When someone wants an airport pickup don’t give them a downtown car and expect me to spot the error.

So I check in with Budget. They give me my folder with a space number on it. Go outside, but can't find that space in the Budget section. Had to find someone. Oh, that's actually a Hertz car -- they are over there. I know they are the "same" company -- why not act like one?
WAY TOO EXPENSIVE, STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS WHO NEED RENTALS, WE WILL REMEBER THIS WHEN ENTERPRICE REDUCES THE PRICING AFTER THE EXCUSES ARE OVER, WE WILL NOT GO TO ENTERPRISE. YOU SHOULD BE SHAMED FOR THIS PRICE GOUGING BUT THERE IS NO SHAME IN CORPORARTE AMERICA ON ONE THING RULES..... .....GREED, GREED ,GREED.
The premium SUV we ordered 6 weeks earlier was not available. We were given a truck (a Tundra) which we refused due to its size. After quite some time they offered us a Mitsubishi intermediate SUV which was filled with a stinky smoke smell the whole trip. The “need maintenance light” kept coming on every time we started the vehicle and when we left the car rental place, we noticed there was only 1/4 of a tank of gas. We had a person traveling with us that was on oxygen 24/7 and we plugged her oxygen tank into the cigarette lighter to keep it charged for our 8 hour trip. It was after a few hours that we noticed her tank was not recharging. After trying several different ways of plugging her oxygen into the cigarette lighter we realized it was not working. It was a very difficult trip for our friend who had to keep turning her oxygen off to save the charge. The assistant manager did knock off some of the rental charge when we returned it, but we felt we should have been reimbursed 100% of the fee due to the dangerous predicament they put our friend who is dependent on her oxygen due to her COPD.
The car was clearly not cleaned between rentals.

When I returned the vehicle had I not caught the over charge that the location was charging me over & above the online quote that I would be paying I would have been overcharged!.....Because they made no mention of a vehicle upgrade or anything!!
It was quick and professional. All good
The customer service was excellent and my overall experience with the car was great!
